Good value cheap hotel near beach”

Good value hotel near the beach lagoon, with helpful staff and decent breakfast. It is much smaller and more basic than it looks. This hotel is not in Saint Gilles Les Bains. It is in Hermitage Les Bains as shown on , which is 2.5kms away, and has a limited number of restaurants close by. They advertise free wi-fi in all rooms, which is not true. They also do not have the advertised night club. The spa was closed when we were there. If you are coming here via Pierrefonds airport, make sure you have transport arranged before you arrive (hire car etc) as there is nothing at the airport.

we were supposed to stay one night - we returned and spent a nice time there. every single member of staff is friendly and ready to help. nice service. I recommend this hotel for at least one night while driving across Reunion

average hotel,pictures are better”

Stayed there 3 nights,just to sleep and wash,wouldnt like to stay longer,as its small average hotel,no territory,crampy rooms (at least standard ones what are all on the ground floor)with bad chemical smell,very old air con what was dirty and blowing wind up to your head.As it was so hot,we had to use it time to time,no fan.First we got a so called garden room,what was directly almost at noisy street,after we got pool view,better but the same small room,your door is your window and it opens almost to the bed.Shower was OK,towels were not changed first day.You get beach towels at reception and beach is not far,cross the street and walk direct.Near the hotel is nothing,just a supermarket what was good,some bars..no good eating places nearby and nothing to do at evenings.The pool very small and got overcrowded at weekend when the hotel was full.We liked the breakfast,it was good:coffee from maschine,fresh croissants,fruits,eggs etc.The staff was kind and spoke also English which is rare on Reunion-just French. Sure,there are better hotels and check carefully,if you want to stay in this one.

Well-located (within walking distance of shops and beach), but can be a little noisy either from traffic or children in the swimming pool. Car park is too small for the number of cars and can be difficult to manoeuvre in if full. Reception area is nice although when we arrived there was no-one there and no bell to call anyone, we ended up knocking on a door behind which we heard voices. Room is OK and is equipped with a safe and fridge, but is quite small. Wifi didn't work at one point in the evening, presumably because everyone was connected at the same time?! The curtains in front of the door/French windows are far too long and trail on the floor - it doesn't seem very professional not to have cut them to the right length and hemmed them. An air vent system in the bathroom would be quite good, the shower is good but the stall itself is rather dark.

The breakfast is very poor,the rooms are better in the internet but actually very basics,the staff doesn't speak english ,only french,very problematick for tourist that doesn't speak the french language,the location of the hotel is far away from the centre.

Lors de notre arrivée, il n’y avait personne à l’accueil, il a fallu attendre 20 à 30 minute avant que le personnel n’arrive. Ensuite notre chambre n’était pas prête car « les femmes de chambre avaient pris du retard ».... la politique d’accueil doit être complètement revue...

Hotel très bien, calme, magnifique. Nous avons eu l appartement avec 2 chambres, 2 salle de bain, 2 toilettes,cuisine et grande terasse ! Magnifique le seul bemol c'est la propreté de la cuisine ! Sinon à conseiller !

C'était parfait avant le réaménagement des chambres. Elles ont été réduites. Les lits dans l'allongement de la clim. La lumière de la salle de bains en plein visage.. La porte de la salle de bain cogne contre les toilettes. Etc ect.

hygiène de la piscine a revoir les analyse d'eau ARS ne sont pas conforme et date de 2018 alors que ars passe tous les mois
