Best hotel and super-friendly and professional staff”

I was a solo traveller and I would say the staff was one of the best I've ever seen. I want to give a shout-out to security guard Mr. Ashraf and shop owner Mr. Alaa el-Din, who was extremely professional and helped me with the problem I've faced in Luxor. Mr Alaa el-Din and one security guard with a moustache was very nice and every time I went out the hotel they greeted me well and gave me information about tourist places and what prices I would expect. The staff in the hotel spoke perfect English and smiled to the tourists all the time. Room was also super clean and spacious. The garden view was amazing. Swimming pool was big and clean. Location was near to every tourist places. 5 minutes walk to Luxor temple and Macdonald. Best hotel you can get from Luxor.

A little treasure in Luxor”

Great staff and supervisor Muhammed Ahmed who took care of me, amazing garden and pool. Room are spacious and clean. The breakfast at Pavillon is unfortunately not good as it say it is a 5 star hotel. I was given a chance to try the breakfast at the sister hotel which was huge and very, very good. Very smooth check in. Pros: Overall a very, very good hotel with amazing a surroundings and lovely staff. Cons: They don’t offer any taxi services, just limousine for a very high price. There are taxis right outside the hotel and it is easy to take one or use Uber.

Peace and Serenity”

Hotel’s location is just right infront of the Nile river, but you’re not really situated by the street since it is inside the Sofitel’s complex/garden. It’s quite peaceful and beautiful especially having the garden view. All staffs were very courteous and kind. Room was very spacious and clean. I highly recommend this hotel! Best one in Luxor.

Our room was spacious and clean. They serve breakfast as early as 5:30am. There's a 24in TV with english channels! The employees were very friendly and helpful. On our last night, I called the room service and ordered a cake for my boyfriend's birthday. They just gave it to us for free! This is such an awesome hotel!

Live like a King ”

The hotel is from another era. Everything about it is high class. The park and pool provide beautiful views from the room and a welcome escape from the busy street hustlers along the Nile. The only thing that was less than ideal was a lack of water pressure for the shower. Everything else was 10+.

Best place to stay in Luxor ”

I booked the Pavilion but was upgraded to the old winter palace hotel. I enjoyed the atmosphere very much, breakfast buffet was very good. The pool was heated, which is important in wintertime. Staff was the very best. I will be back!

Excepcional”

The pool is awesome and during the nights it’s perfect for an evening chat by the bar. We had a great time. No one was bothering us. We had such a peaceful time inside the hotel. The hotel really is a gate away from the city itself.

Probably the best in Luxor ”

Good value for money, not as upmarket as the Winter Palace itself, but a great place to stay. Unfortunately when leaving the beautiful gardens you get pounced upon by locals who may even follow you, but its the same thoughout the city.

Fab experience in the heat of June”

The helpful lady at reception gave me an early check in, rooms are spacious, spotless and overlook a lovely garden. Facilities are great and the breakfast is to die for. If all this is not enough, the staff is magnificently friendly yet unobtrusive.

Super location, best service ”

I had an upgraded room in the Sofitel Winter palace instead of the room in Pavilion Winter hotel. Super nice old hotel with a lush garden and great and helpful staff. I felt very welcome, thank you!

Great and Romantic ”

This hotel was the highlight of our trip and we really enjoyed our stay. They didn't give us breakfast for free which was really annoying since everyone else did. Which costed a whopping 300 egp per day. Was no wear near deserving that price. The food overall was worth id say 100 pounds per person. The afternoon tea was not good and i was disappointed that we could not have our tea outside. All of the rooms inside are too dark and depressing it would be nice to have the windows open some more. Overall though the garden is just so amazing! So is the pool. And we were really happy with the hotel. No free water was also disappointing. Highly recommended! Id come back on my honeymoon its so romantic
