Solace is located somewhat out of the city center with close proximity to the Metro and where there are many restaurants and small shops. Very lively and it feels very safe. The hotel is 12 floors with a great roof deck lounge,pool and has great views. Our room was large and well laid out. House keeping was impeccable throughout. The main floor has nice restaurant. A good breakfast was served. Front desk staff are very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic hotel with beautiful views”

Loved this modern hotel with large rooms and a very posh rooftop. Our room was so comfortable and had a great view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially with a late flight departure on the day of checkout. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Santiago.

Perfect stay in Santiago!”

Extra ordinary friendly stuff, amazing rooms, cosy and comfortable beds, great view on the rooftop with small but nice pool. Everything was perfect! Unfortunatley the bikes were not available... but the stuff tried their best to make it possible. So: 5 stars from us!

First time in Chile”

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived from our long flight. They were able to accommodate early check in. Room was very nice and exactly as advertised. Breakfast was good, but service in the restaurant was not very good. Lunch in the restaurant was tasty. Staff was helpful explaining the metro system to us when we wanted to explore the city.

Clean beautiful and well located ”

The hotel is tastefully decorated, rooms big and very clean and the bed is super comfy. They don’t provide toiletries other than shampoo, body wash and conditioner though. The view from the rooftop is fantastic, however the pool was way too cold to swim in even in summer. The rooftop bar is nice because of the great views but lacks ambiance and the staff were not very motivated to offer you drinks. Breakfast was all right and the staff were friendly and responsive. We would stay here again.

Best hotel I stayed at in South America”

Everything was perfect at this hotel, from its location to its excellent service and great restaurant. It's in a quiet side street, just off busy Av Providencia in the lovely suburb of Providencia, close to shops, a bank (where I withdrew Chilean pesos using my Australian debit card), restaurants, attractive homes and the delightful Metropolitan Park and San Cristobal hill over the other side of the Mapocho River. Staff were without exception friendly and helpful and spoke good English, some perfectly and accentlessly. My room was spacious and modern and the bathroom very well appointed. The shower was very good. The hotel has an attractive modern decor. Apart from the excellent and varied breakfasts (including custom-cooked omelettes - a rarity at the hotels I stayed at in South America), dinners were superb and offered a variety of typical Chilean cuisine as well as more conventional dishes such as risottos and pastas. Every meal I had was high quality and the service was faultless. Breakfast was included in my very reasonable tariff. The suburb of Providencia, where the hotel is located, is quite an up-market area and I really enjoyed strolling the lovely surrounding streets, particularly over the other side of the Mapocho River, about 5 minutes walk away. I had frequent stunning views of the Andes in the background of lovely leafy streets and attractive houses. The area is about 4 km from the Plaza de Armas, the 'centre' of Santiago. Providencia seems to be one of the main hotel areas, with Sheraton, Hyatt and other high-end hotels close by. Overall I loved staying at the Solace Hotel and in this area and would be very happy to stay there again next time I'm in Santiago. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Superb Stay ”

Great stay. Priced very well for the standard of service. Hotel looks and smells amazing. Handed a glass of cold water at check-in, room was pristine and larger than shown. Pool was stunning (a little shallow so watch your knees!) Staff always smiling and ready to help. Asked for an Ironing board, they picked up my shirt from the room and had it back with an hour! Book your stay before the price goes up!

I loved my stay at the Solace Santiago. The espresso machine in the room was great, the hotel was in a quiet area, and the roof had one of the best views in the city. I'm staying here again when I pass back through in a few weeks. Love this hotel!
