Walking distance to SM City Mall”
It is a great location and walking distance to SM City Mall. They are no-frills, but have a hot shower (once it runs for a bit) and great WiFi in the room (once it finally connects). There is NO VIEW and only two channels (both Tagalog). The staff is friendly. There is a burger machine kiosk right outside the front door that has intermittent coffee availability in the morning but it's only 15 pesos. There is an Andocks next to the Hotel and a couple 24 hour (pricey) coffee shops directly across the street.

The place was so comfortable to stay. You don't have to worry about food or stuffs you need since there are restaurants and convenience stores around the area (plus SM City Cebu is also a block away). Also, you won't experience problems with water in their bathrooms since kusog kaayo ilang agas which amazed me. If I may suggest, may they put water dispensers in every floor for the ones who would like coffee early in the morning (could be with payment of 2 or 5 pesos).

Express Inn is very affordable, clean and accommodating staff. Room is spacious enough considering the price that we paid. There's a pharmacy downstairs where you can also buy same stuff at a convenience store. There's a chicken fast food and a newly open shawarma place across the Inn.

We will surely return. They have friendly employees, and you can even chat your concerns with them on Facebook. SM City and Ayala were both only a few blocks away, with food and resto just around the corner. We arrived in Cebu early for our check-in, but you can drop your luggage once your reservation has been confirmed. Our stay was absolutely stress-free.

Express Inn is a very good hotel to stay for multiple reason: 1) location is near SM Mabolo, near almost to all destination, cost of rooms cheap but quality is good, staff are helpful &friendly, water pressure in bath is really good, bed is comfy, no mosquitoes or other insects. Highly recommended!

We don't have a problem with our online booking because when we arrive there the staff are very accommodating. They just check our booking and check our ID's and Vax cards then they handed us the key then off we go to our room. Our next travel to Cebu will book again here.

Exceed expectations”
The place we booked exceeded our expectations. The room is wide. The tv & aircon operated well, I just wished they have heaters in their bathroom. Outside the place is accessible, they have pharmacy and tapsilogan outside. The only that bothered me is that their staff won't let us check in an hour earlier even when our room is already available, they let us pay 100 per hour. Some hotels let their visitors check in hotels if the room is available. But all in all, the value for our money is GREAT.

But they don’t let you check in early. More than 10 people waiting in the lobby, waiting for at least 2 hours. Rooms were open, clean, and ready, but nope, so sorry can’t let anyone check in. Right at 2 pm, they try checking people in one at a time, they called me last. After waiting for 2 hours already, it took 20 more minutes after 2 pm to get me to my room. What a circus. Other than the clowns working the front desk, it was a pretty good deal.
