Asakusa Hotel Hatago
Asakusa,Asakusa - View on map
"For us, the rate is quite expensive. Even though it's quite expensive, the hotel location is very near to Asakusa Station in Asakusa Line - Lift Exit 2A (or 2B I forgot), walk about less than 5 minutes after out of the lift and the room is very clean (Tatami Style) and quite spacious. Also, the service includes room cleaning every day and breakfast (bento which menu changes every day and beverages like water/tea/coffee/orange juice). Even they can't serve halal food for us but they tried their best to serve the food that we can eat. Thank you for your understanding. There is no iron in the room (you may ask the front desk but I'm too lazy to ask for that every time I need it) and no microwave at the lounge (a place where we have breakfast at 9/Floor). And you can go up to the rooftop to enjoy the beauty of the city of the night and Tokyo Skytree. Overall, the hotel provides a very good service for us. Sure, I'll stay again at Asakusa Hotel Hatago. Thank you. ^0^"

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa Hotel
Asakusa,Asakusa - View on map
"We have a blast because of the location of the hotel which is very near to 3 train station, asakusa line, ginza line and tsukuba express. Hotel is next to sensoji temple and various tourist attraction such as temple street market and asakusa tourist center. Only two stations away from akihabara. And more importantly walking distances from a numbers of halal restaurant such as Ippin, Sekai Cafe, naritaya ramen and saray. Friendly staff that will always ready to help you although not all of them can understand english but still ok as one of the staff can speak english very well. Overall the Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa Hotel is very good and recommendas for group travellers. "

Taito Ryokan

"We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Love the feel of traditional Japanese home/ryokan, the tatami room, the futon, everything! And Satoshi-san was very nice to us. Superb location to train stations (big thumbs up to Tsukuba Express!), konbini/Family Mart are all very near to Taito Ryokan. For Muslim travellers, Origami restaurant, Naritaya ramen, Sekai Cafe & little shops in Asakusa are all within walking distance. We wish that we can stay longer. Definitely will book Taito Ryokan for our next visit. Note:This ryokan is suitable for backpackers and anyone who don't mind staying in a very traditional Japanese home. "

Ryokan Asakusa Mikawaya Honten

"i suppose this hotel is one of the best hotels in Asakusa considering its location, price and the friendliness of all staff. The hotel is not that big but they always aim to help and staff speak good English. If i will go to Japan again, i'm definitely going to stay here. We really love the staff there actually they are owners since the hotel's a family run business. But one thing i'd like to add; they should have a bigger sign of the hotel's name in English because it's difficult to find the hotel when you have to walk around Asakusa area."

Asakusa Ryokan Toukaisou Hotel

"Stayed here for 3 nights in a Twin room. This hotel is 6 min walking distance from Tawaramachi Metro subway station. Asakusa Metro Subway is further away on a 12min walk. Can be a bit tricky to locate as it is in a small lane. Rox Asakusa Shopping Mall is a good landmark to locate and can be found opposite the main street. Staff were friendly and approachable. Hotel's bathroom and toilet is small but this is to be expected of most budget hotel in Japan. Will be good if there's hooks in the bathroom however as there's no place to hang towels or clothes. Room was relatively clean and there's tea set, bath/hand towels, basic bathroom amenities & Yukata for nightwear. You can get drinking water at the hallway outside. There's also a fridge where you can placed your chilled items. Hotel is near to many eating places and Don Quijote. You can walk to Sensoji Temple & Nakamise Street in 8 mins. Will stay here again if I stay in Asakusa!"

Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu

"I really loved this hotel. The room was in Japanese style, with futon and low table (though astoundingly large for a Tokyo hotel room!), but with an en-suite western-style bathroom - and fast in-room wifi. The location is fantastic: in gentle Asakusa, two minutes from the Sensoji temple complex and Nakamise Dori, but also right around busy urban streets. And only about 5 minutes from a subway station. Best of all are the staff, who speak excellent English (but nevertheless show great patience to foreigners who insist upon practicing rusty Japanese) and are incredibly friendly and willing to help. This is without question one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Japan, or really anywhere, and I'll definitely come back again."

you-oshiage hotel
Asakusa,Asakusa - View on map
"The bedroom is very spacious. The bathroom is large and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There is a TV with a few Japanese channels. It was helpful to use the hotel shuttle service from A3 exit of Oshiage station. The last shuttle is at 6.50pm. The hotel shuttle is a blue 7 or 8-seater car with no visible name or signage - we almost missed it as we weren't told in advance that there would be no sign. Toothbrushes and towels are provided. You make your own futon beds. The tatami floor didnt feel absolutely clean but disposable bedroom slippers are provided, so it was fine. It would be good if the hotel also provides a bathroom mat. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to Skytree through a very quiet neighbourhood. Not many food options or shops nearby. This hotel provides the most prompt replies on email, which is very helpful."

The Edo Sakura

"Perfect place. Ryokan experience. That zen feel is what we desire that is why we booked here. The staff are all friendly and polite. Very warm atmosphere. The place is new. Amazingly clean everywhere in Japan but this place is newly built in 2013 so all the more you will love the clean room and amenities. The best thing is its location.it is close to iriya station and to ueno central station so transportation is no big fuss.In Japan, you need to brace yourself for walking and enjoying the subway trains otherwise take a more expensive cab ride anywhere. But I hardly suggest you do this. Rare does it. We enjoyed Japan and our hotel is best pick from agoda. I will not book the city hotels. I dont like the boxed ambiance of small spaces with crowded streets. Overall, we shall be back at the Edo Sakura. See u soon Yoko. Charming hotel. "

Andon Ryokan Hotel
Asakusa,Asakusa - View on map
"We stayed 4 nights and were surprised by the excellent standard of the facilities and amenities. We used the jacuzzi room for showering and to relax in the spa. Breakfast menu was versatile for westerners and served with good free coffee. We paid the cheap cost as it was not included in our rate. The staff spoke perfect English and helped with directions to transport and sights. It was a short walk to the Metro but a good location for Asakusa and the Tokyo skytower. We would recommend if you want a Japanese ryokan experience at a good rate. "
