"The location is not right across from the beach, but is center to a lot of things. Just down the street there is a sign that reads 20.00 dolphin tour (Just Chute Me) it’s great, well worth the money! If you like buffet food Old Times Restaurant near the hotel is very good!"

"Yes! We would definitely book a return stay & recommend this hotel to friends. We checked in right at 3PM & pleased we could get a ground floor room close to entrance. The staff was always friendly & happy to help. The self serve breakfasts were enjoyable....the BEST especially for this style. The room was clean & comfortable, including the bed. We were very impressed. Thank you to the staff of Wingate by Wyndham Destin."

"The ceilings in the room, the bedskirts and bathtub were all covered in black mold. Stucco was peeling off the ceiling. Floors were gritty. Overall very poor experience. Please save your money. "

"Clean nice hotel on a budget this would be a good one for you or you and your family ..the room when I checked in was prepared and clean ..the Furnishings were appropriate ...the staff was friendly and helpful...I noticed a small pool and appeared to be very clean and well-kept.. the parking lot was large enough to accommodate all guests and within reasonable walking to the rooms ..with no shady characters noted and the parking lot was being observed by hotel staff/watchers......Cons-breakfast is very limited....(buy breakfast at the grocery...cook in room...bring skillet/pots/kitchen tools...or go out for breakfast.. I would stay again and I would recommend it to my family members and Friends for a nice economical Hotel in Destin Florida......stayed May2019 x3days......Keith/Ky"
