"Location: (a) Nakano - by JR rapid train, about 8 mins from Shinjuku by JR local train, 3 stations from Shinjuku (about 15 mins) - A local residental area. But a lot of resturants (of different classes), a supermarket, a department store and a shopping street nearby. Nakano Broadway (at the end of the shoppoing street)- a shopping centre that is quite interesting. (b) Hotel Location - Located at 16/F to 19/F of an eye-catching building. 3 mins walk from JR Nakano station. Room - spacious in terms of price and by the standard of Tokyo. Apart from a bed and a bathroom with a small bathtub, my single room has a desk, a sofa and a small table. Clean. Service - Good. Luggage-keeping service available at reception. A manager speaks good English. "

"This was my 3rd stay at Hotel Mets Koenji. In the past I have stayed in a single room but opted for a twin room this time for more space. I love this neighborhood and the hotel’s location at JR station makes getting around the city a snap. The rooms are simple, clean & functional, and the hotel has everything you need (vending/ice machine, microwave, laundry facility plus free coffee/tea in the lobby). Good value, will stay again next time."
