It is indeed a very cozy, safe and peaceful place to stay. Food would not be a problem because it is 2 minutes away from Robinson's Mall. The staffs are kind and polite. 😇

Our room was clean, the linens and towel were new, fresh scented. Nice parking just right beside the room easy access. The staffs were accommodating, great service. It is just a few meters from robinsons place. I will definitely come back here.

“Our 2nd time at Farmside” ”
First time was March 2018… they have decent rooms, wifi sucks but you can go to the canteen and use it there… we don’t want to complain because we’re not really there to unwind, we stayed because we know the place and it’s convenient.

We stayed there overnight and was woken up by a magnitude 6.5 earthquake. The place was undamaged. My only qualms is the entry to the property to the road is very narrow. If you have a big vehicle it's barely able to go thru. Only one car in or out at a time.

I decided to book us at this place because I saw the photos and read some reviews, but most of all, the cost was most reasonable. The location is within the center, walking distance to the mall and the national highway, but it's an inner street which, if you're not from the area, you might not be comfortable walking through at night. The staff is undoubtedly very friendly (special mention to Ms. Katerina)! They're all courteous and accommodating. We arrived very early in the morning so I had to add an extra day so we could check-in earlier than their usual 2pm check-in. We decided to have breakfast in their resto when we arrived. It wasn't a big deal that they only have very few options. But I think we would've had breakfast faster if we went out to the McDonald's in the mall. We waited so long for our breakfast to be served. The room that we got was probably the simplest one. No problem with that since we only needed a place to sleep and shower. We were out the most part of the day. The real downside to this hotel is its cleanliness and the lack of it. The room was clean enough. However, the bathroom was really bad! The grouts on the walls were filled with molds, as well as the sliding door that separates the toilet and the shower area. There was also this foul smell in the toilet everytime we arrived in the evening. Also, there were a couple of times when water ran out while either of us was in the shower. One time I had to call the front desk to have it checked. That was really inconvenient. The friend we were visiting in Laoag said yes when I told her I'm booking our stay in this hotel. I think it used to be a nice hotel as shown in the photos, but I wish they could've kept it clean and nice.

Good location for site-seeing and mall shopping”
This hotel was a very pleasant surprise indeed: a diamond in the rough for such a far out place as Ilocos. It is a short 8 minute walk to the new Robinson's Mall in San Nicolas, which is also where you can pick up a bus, Jeepney or trike for going anywhere you may want in Ilocos. It also has s very friendly staff willing to help with anything you might want or need. All-in-all I recommend Farm House to anyone traveling north for vacation.

Value because indeed it's very cheap if you only need a place to stay/sleep because most of our time we are outside exploring the Ilocos Region. Privacy because it's sooooo quiet, we felt like we're in our own home, this is located in a residential area but the people always welcomes us by Ilocano hospitality. Location because the hotel is not too far from a mall (Robinson's), from the city and all you need is just a walk away. You get what you've paid for, just a minor comment/suggestion to the management to fix/repair/replace/improve old toilet accessories such as faucet, leaking sink, and shower. Also, please improve the water pressure and foul smell in the toilet. Please improve also the WIFI connection, we are in the ground floor villa #6 and WIFI inside our room is very weak, we need to go outside just to have a fair connection. In general, Farm Side Hotel is awesome for its Value, Privacy and its Location. We truly enjoy our stay here and made our first Ilocandia Tour a memorable event of our marriage life. Great Value - Great Staff!”
I was pleasantly surprised by Farm Side Hotel, but was more appreciative of the staff, their helpfulness, and how accommodating they were. We got in early and the staff accommodated us and let us check in early. We were able to eat breakfast almost every day at the canteen and cold/hot water was available as needed. There were also toiletries available in the rooms and towels. The surroundings are kept very clean and if we needed a tricycle, security was very helpful in obtaining one for us. We also used the car/van services for a drop-off at the bus station and the price was very reasonable. Truly appreciate the help and services since we were in town for my Dad's funeral. Thank you so much for making our stay pleasant, easy, and affordable. Highly recommend!

Value for Money”
My group had a pleasant stay. Since we arrived very early, the staff allowed us to leave our baggage and just check in when we return from our Vigan tour, since we did not get a tour package and we were on our own. The following day was Pagudpud tour but this time we needed a van to rent. The hotel's service was already full but they volunteered they will try to find us one and contacted someone they know right away. The fee was the same if you get one from the hotel, which is fair, and the driver was very nice and helpful during our Pagudpud trip. The driver even volunteered to buy us bagnet and longanisa in the market for our pasalubong. McDonald's and Robinsons was just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Since we don't have a service going to the bus station (i can't imagine travelling by tricycle or jeep with our baggage and pasalubong), we asked the hotel staff if they have a service that could take us to the bus station and thank goodness! they have, of course for a fair fee. For those travelling with limited budget, I would recommend Farm Side Hotel.
