Ensimmäinen kokemukseni tudellisesta kapselihotellista. Majoitusympäristö on enemmän majatalomainen kuin hotellinomainen, kapselit ovat lähellä toisiaan ja sekä äänet että tuoksut leviävät vapaasti atmosfääriin. Kapseli oli myös tuskaisen kuuma nukkumapaikka ainakin Pohjoismaiselle henkilölle. Matkatavaroita varten oli käytössä reilun kokoinen komero ja hotellissa oli pesukoneita ja rumpukuivaimia pyykkiä varten. Automaateista sai kätevästi pientä syötävää ja juotavaa. Samassa rakennuksessa oli hyvä kotiruoka-ravintola, edullinen mutta nuhruinen. Myös kauppa ja palvelupesula löytyi samasta talosta.

Located inside residential areas, a chance to walk around and experience Japan at its slower pace. Bathrooms and sleeping beds are unexpectedly clean. Locker room is big enough to stuff alot of luggage but there is little room for you to unpack/pack. Overall good hotel. Would book again if revisit

Worth every single penny”
The hotel has several free supplies, including face towel and a teeth brush. You got large storage which can store large luggage. Nothing bad except you have to sleep with others. Very good choice to save your money and having a good stay.

Near Tokyo Metro Station ”
First impression about this hostel is clean and friendly staff. You can reach the hostel by Keisei Airport train to Ueno then take Metro to Iriya station after that go to Exit 4. You need to walk around 8 - 10 minutes from the iriya station. The bed is comfy and they have private locker room is point plus! If you buy JR pass please consider again, because far away from JR Yamanote line.

Peaceful place for solo traveller”
First of all, the price is very low compared to other hostels. It's not really adjacent to any train station. You have to walk like 500m from Iriya Stn. If you're strong enough it's fine. It's quite a quiet place with a private locker room that you can store 2 large luggage inside. The bathroom consists of both shower room and bathtub, and it's quite clean. However, you need to do the bed yourself, which I find it's a bit inconvenient. I also find trashes (pins, rubber bands, hair, dust, etc.) under my mattress during doing the bed sheet. That's the only major cons for staying here. The rest is really good. The staff is helpful and well-mannered. :) Oh, and there're not many convenient stores or restaurants around the area. You may fill your stomach before finishing your day at the place.

Pros: Near the metro station Clean Room, Toilet, and Bathroom Helpful and friendly staff Huge locker room Cons: Uncomfortable pillow and mattress (You can pay 200 yen for extra bed sheet i think) You need to surrender your keys every time you going out (Which is a bit hassle on my end) Boring common room (Need to add some sort of entertainment in the room like TV or Desktop PCs) Overall, I enjoyed staying at 1 Night 1980 Yen Tokyo Hotel.

The staff was very nice and they could speak English quite well. It takes a bit of time to walk from the station, so I would recommend for people who can walk distance. The bathroom and showers were really nice and clean. However, the bunk bed was quite dusty.

Nice and friendly reception, but not quite sure everyone can speak English. Might need some google translator stuff to communicate. Bit old, but still nice bed considering the price. 15-minute walk from the subway, so careful if traveling in summer or winter.

It takes 15 minutes from JR Uguisudani Station, but 6 minutes from Iriya Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. Please use Iriya Station the next time you come to our hotel. Toilets, Shower Facilities were great. Would be great if they can provide shower gel and shampoo FOC daily. Also should have some toilet seat sanitiser. But for that price, beggars cant be choosers. Overall this is a cheap and great capsule hotel in a expensive city like tokyo.

The second best common place we had in Japan. The only place with a room to lock the luggages. Bath towels were free.
