Totally Unexpected!”
Reasonably priced considering its prime location in the more quiet side of Shinjuku. A short comfortable walk from the Shinjuku Station. Looking at it at Google maps, looking rundown building and all, to my surprise, it was refurbished well! And all those lighting fixtures and furnishings that are very artistically repurposed from various materials are already a great value to the Apartment itself. I felt like staying in a museum or an exhibit hall. The "No Key" need for entering the premises or your room is very convenient as you do not have to worry of losing your key. The staff are very friendly. Room is small, I barely had the space to open my luggage, but the premises and the room itself are clean and orderly. I would definitely have to stay here again.

Best design and location in shinjuku!”
The hotel is the best for value for it’s money! Really close to shinjuku station (5 mins walk, 1 mins by taxi or bike) The design of the hotel is really hip, and the place itself is a very well designed for it’s class. APS certainly the best hotel for those youngsters and foreigners who speak english. Although the hotel doesnt offer and bidet, and for those who brought a car going to it, it’s a bit trick as the alley that they are in only fits for 1 car.

Cute, vintage, but probably not for everyone”
This hotel is small, adorably vintage (Abilletage even designed them a room!), and the staff is really, really nice. They were so helpful. As for the rooms, they're small, very cute, and basic (in terms of the bathroom and kitchenette). Location is also amazing, a mere 3 minutes walk from Shinjuku station.

Nice place good location ”
Lovely place, good location, friendly staff and comfy bed. One thing that could be improved is space for clothing in the room. My room had no closet or other space to hang clothes

Great location, nice decoration”
Place is clean, nicely decorated, especially the decorations, remind me the old Hong Kong movie directed by 王家衛. Definitely will stay again if in Shinjuku. For first time visitor, please be reminded that the reception open at 10:00am, can’t enter the apartment if arrive early. Hope this info helps :)

Friendly staff, no lift, very good location”
good location, good price for Shinjuku Area. we reached abt 9pm+ and the staff wait for us to check in before she could off duty. room and toilet is quite small, but we only stayed here for one night so is still ok. the only con we have was to carry our luggage by staircase and our room is located at 3rd floor . Overall still a pleasant stay.

Conveniently located next to the station but on very quiet little street. No breakfast but there are plenty of coffee shops around. Room cleaning for free more than once a week would have been appreciated.

Quirky hotel in prime location”
The room and bed were both bigger than I had anticipated. The place has a very relaxed vibe and is in the perfect location. Only con was that the water took 15 mins to heat up in the morning (even in summer). Otherwise perfect.

This hotel locates literary 2 munites walk away from Shinjuku Station, BASTA (Shinjuku bus terminal) and 5 munites walking from Isetan Department Store. The size of the room is of that, co-called, matchbox size, but if you are looking for no frills deal, this is the place to be.

Very accessible, about 2mins walk from the subway station. Near takashimaya mall. No bidet though for the toilet. But the location is a major plus!!!! Highly recommended

The staff is accommodating. Even they haven't had an elevator, but big stair makes it easier for luggage.

The room is a little bit too small, the facilities were okay but perhaps could use a carpet so that it wont be too cold to step on it; despite having slippers. Nevertheless, the location was really great considering only 5 minutes of walking to/from Shinjuku Station👍

Perfect Shinjuku location”
Great to be a 5min walk to Central Shinjuku and right opposite Takashiyama super store but make sure you walk the right way. Lane to right of 711.
