they did not clean the room but one time in four days.had to go to check inn to get towels. the workmanship on the room was bad. star rating would be a one

Would definitely stay here again! Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, there was always someone outside cleaning up the parking lot.

I booked early and got a great room rate. We arrived a couple hours before check-in but there was a room ready and we were able to check in early. I saw the housekeeper next door and asked for extra towels. She remembered to leave extra towels for us every day. There were people in the pool into the night but everyone was quiet. The beach is not within walking distance but a short drive away. There is one stackable washer and dryer that was constantly being used so I went to a laundromat instead. I read terrible reviews about Agoda so was nervous that I had booked through them, but I didn’t have any issues at all and would book through them again.

Ok, if you have no other option”

If you need somewhere to stay in a bind and the rest of the Destin properties are unavailable then this place will do. The property staff tried to be accomodating, but the property is dated and needs dehumidifiers installed. I would not stay there if I had other options. The pool is nice.

The room was nice but had a strong musty smell. From mold somewhere in the walls or attic?

Noisy”

Travelling with another couple. Stayed 2 nights. Late night noise (after midnight) woke up all of us. Car doors, car alarms, yelling, and loud laughing. Could hear heavy footsteps and other noises from room above. Will spend the extra $$ to get better quality next time.

Great place ”

This place was so cute. The rooms are newly remodeled and so clean. They have great insulation because you don't hear anything from your neighbors.

Great value for the location”

Room was nice enough for the purpose it served. We spent majority of our time out & about, exploring Destin, so only used the room to sleep/shower/change. I would definitely stay here again bc it's super close to all the attractions & Harborwalk. Other hotels in the area are pretty much double the price - no thanks.

Beware”

We chose this place because the reviews were good. I’m sad to say our stay was awful. Our room smelled of mildew but we were only there for one night so we didn’t complain. It was not cleaned thoroughly either. There was hair (not mine) and other stuff on the inside of the bathroom sink. My husband found a lid to a cup in one of the drawers. The shower rod was installed incorrectly so the curtain wouldn’t remain closed. The comforter wasn’t even a comforter. It was a very thin duvet so it was similar to sleeping with 2 sheets. The absolute worst part was when I found a pair of women’s parties sitting in the bottom of the nightstand as I was packing up. I was so disgusted. My husband and I got out of their as quickly as we could. Trust me....find somewhere else.

This is an older renovated motel. It was clean and staff friendly and accommodating. I would stay again.

We asked to change the room , no problem with that, but even that , the smell persisted a little less. .I do not recommend this hotel to nobody because of the condition of the facilities .

Happily surprised ”

Pleasantly updated room. Newly painted, no carpet (beach sand), large TV, fridge, microwave, and coffee pot in room. Has step in shower. Very clean room. Nice details like crown molding, crisp bed linens, comfy bed, and quiet, cold A.C. Great location. Close to Everything: restaurants ( The Shrimp Basket is just steps from the room), tons of shopping, and multiple beaches. Definitely recommend.

Really dirty”

With Covid you would think the room would’ve been at least a normal clean but our nightstand had coffee stains and everything else was dirty. We wound up having to clean our room ourselves.

We liked the location because it was away from the busy high traffic. It was only few minutes away from some of the city's popular attractions.

The location is not right across from the beach, but is center to a lot of things. Just down the street there is a sign that reads 20.00 dolphin tour (Just Chute Me) it’s great, well worth the money! If you like buffet food Old Times Restaurant near the hotel is very good!

I know this was older fixer upper motel, but it does need more work. Coming in off a flight at midnight after a five hour delay, I was a bit creeped out by the dark, dingy exterior upon my arrival. The interior of the room could also use some work. It smelled musty and just didn’t seem as clean and welcoming as it should be
