A Gem in Kreuzberg”
I needed a place to stay near family and I'm so happy I found Hotel Prens in the exact location I wanted for easy access to them. I will definitely stay again on future visits. The room was to the rear so was very quiet and no light pollution, which I really appreciated; it was very warm and there was lots of hot water. It had all one needed really, though no kettle in room, which would have been nice, also a bath sheet would be preferable to bath towel. It is so easy to get around from here as it's only meters from Schonleinstrabe U-bahn on U8 line which also makes for easy access to Schonberg Airport: U8 to Hermanstrabe and change to S45 to Schonberg (roughly 50 minutes to/from hotel) The area has all the shops and restaurants you could need including a market beside the river on a Friday. Being so near the Landwehrkanal there are beautiful walks along it's banks. I didn't have breakfast because I was visiting family so I cannot comment on it, but it is available.

This hotel was clean and tidy and the room was big. It was also very quiet - I had room at the back away form the main road. The staff were helpful. The negatives are that the bed had one small pillow and I had a bad neck from my first night stay. They did give me an extra pillow afterwards which was great but it would be good to have this as standard (and not to have to ask twice for it). Also make sure the heating is on because it's off on default and I had a chilly night until I discovered the thermostat. The elevator also broke down but was fixed within a day. The room was big but there was no coat hooks and a open wardrobe. Overall it was a good stay in a good location close to metro. I didn't have breakfast but it looked simple and I'm sure most guests use the numerous cafes in Kreuzberg. I would recommend this place!

Not really a bad hotel...”
...but the quality of a service shows exactly when something doesn't go so well. When I checked in, I was told that "a guest had rioted" in my room, which is why the door of the shower cubicle was defective. When I got to the room, I noticed that the bed lighting was also broken. The reception assured me that they would bring a bedside lamp - which never happened. In addition, the temperature of the shower water was just lukewarm one morning. Normally, I assume that I will get an unblemished room. I booked that as a service in the contract. In case of such deficiencies I should be offered another room or at least a partial refund, everything else I find rather unprofessional.

Good budget option”
The price-quality ratio is good, very cheap so don't expect luxury. Despite info about breakfast not possible (good options around the corner) there seemed to be something in the lobby looking like a breakfast budget. Negative: the room was very hot (ventilator is present though), the matrass very soft, a funky smell in the bathroom and streetnoises all night long (the district itself is considered dodgy, but we did not feel anything like that) Positive: very cheap, good shower, exit Metro SchonleinStrasse at 50 meter, safe in room, 24h supermarkt opposite street, some bars and restaurants in close vicinity

Close to train station”
Hotel room was very warm even though we stayed during the winter, near the station but do note that the station do not have lift only stairs. But overall pleasant experience.

Good Hotel!”
Nothing fancy but works good for the price. Breakfast is a little boring for the 8€ you pay. Location is great. Room is acceptably clean. Maintenance needs to improve — my shower head didn’t work. All in all a good acceptable choice.

Very good location to the u bahn and so easy to get everywhere. Supermarket very close by. Comfy beds, clean room and facilities.

Hotel is kind of secluded”
Hotel location is nearby U-Bahn Schonleinstrabe. There’s no sign of hotel entrance, you have to press the button to allow to open the door. There’s only one staff. Not able to call staff from hotel room. Clean but minimum facility. Bathroom door kind of broken. Bed and pillow is hard. It’s secluded, and kind of eerie. I don’t see other guess during my stay.

Simple, clean and convenient”
We stayed here for 2 nights for exploring Berlin. Hotel room was okay and fuss free. The staff replaced the towels and provide room cleaning, clean bathroom although the lights were dim. The frontdesk staff was very helpful and provided us with maps and info. There are so many halal food around. The area is nicknamed "Arab street" by the locals. Thanks for the hospitality.

Very clean and bright, nestled in a very good little area of Berlin. Staff was excellent, room is sweet, good facility, for the price this is a no brainer! I really like this location. Staff stood out as cool, we chatted, extra friendly and cool.

This hotel really nice. Near with train station. This hotel room nice and clean. Easy to access other place with train from this hotel. Easy to find halal food stall nearby this hotel. Hotel staff (guy) in morning really helpfull.
