Amazing! Worth the price!”
For the price this is the best in the area! It was close to Asakusa station (around 900m or 15 mins walk) where you get off from Narita Airport. It was also close to the Tawaramuchi station that houses the Ginza line, which can get you to tourist spots like Shibuya, Ueno and Shinjuku. It is so close (so so close!) to the Sensoji temple, and I've visited it in the early mornings and late evenings without needing to worry how to get home. There is a nearby grocery (basement floor of ROX) and a myriad of restaurants and food-selling restaurants, and a 24hr Don Quixote. The staff is super nice and helpful during our stay. The room is what I expected for the price we paid, but it was WARM (very much needed during our winter stay) and they cleaned out the trash during the stay. The communal area is nice, we were able to cook some late night ramen and eggs and eat there. Next time I'm in Tokyo, I will come back and book with you guys again!

Excellent hotel with good facilities”
very good location which near the Tawaramachi and Asakusa line, 24hours Seiyu Supermarket and Donki is nearby. We enjoyed our self prepared breakfasts at the 6th floor with full kitchen facilities very much, even few nights we had our supper and drinks at the dining area. After we checked out, we kept our luggage at the hotel, before leaving, we able to take a good shower at 6th floor which is extremely clean and comfortable. The room is big enough with lots of room to move around. The staffs are friendly, the map prepared by the hotel is very informative. Sure we will stay here again for our future visit in Tokyo! Thumbs up!

Khaosan Tokyo Laboratory review: Very clean place and is very convenient. All instructions are clear and can help tourists be guided on their trip in Tokyo. The staff and information desk are nice and are very approachable. Shoutout to Ryan for fixing the heater of our room for us to have a comfortable sleep on a long day. I also loved the kitchen and dining on the 6th floor as all necessary items needed are there with label. 🤗

Hi! We had a pleasant stay. The rooms were big as advertised, knowing how expensive hotel/hostel rooms in Tokyo, we were so happy with the price and size of the rooms. Ensuite toilet comes w amenities and bidet! Water pressure and hot water were great too. The common kitchen was well equipped, super happy with it. Their staff were amazing as well, very fluent in english. We arrived early, so we just wanted to drop our luggage so we can start exploring, they even offered the communal bathroom if we want to take a shower first, super thoughtful. They even have free face masks for guests daily. Location was super awesome! Walking distance to Sensoji Shrine and many convenience store all around. Will definitely return here in the future. The hotel is accessible by tawaramachi ginza line. It’s near Don quijote and rox with 24 hour supermarket. You can Walk to reach sensoji temple and skytree. Many convinience store in the area. The hotel has a pantry wherein you can cook and eat. The staff also Assistance US with our inquire on how to go to other atras in Tokyo. They also provide us mask during our stay since it’s Covid season. I will surely book with Khaosan again.

Great location, friendly staff”
Our stay here was awesome. The location was great. Walking distance from Tawaramachi station and also Asakusa station. There are lots of convenience stores outside as well as fast foods and restaurants where you can grab a quick bite before touring around Tokyo. Also near Don Quijote and Asakusa ROX which was so great. Senso-ji temple was also just walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was big enough for all 3 of us and we can open all our luggage completely. The en-suite bathroom was also big enough and clean. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

If you are looking for a place to stay during your travel trip to Tokyo then this place is a great choice. The hostel is in Asakusa where you can go to great restaurants, sight seeing spots (Sumida Park, Osensoji,...) within walking distance.

There are 3 stations nearby that serves different train lines, making it easy to access most tourist spots. Malls and budget shops like donki donki are nearby, and so is food.

The location was excellent. About 2 minute walk from a subway station that reaches everything. There's also a kitchen that everyone can use with a fridge a stove and cutlery you can use as well as a microwave.

Lovely team at Khaosan Tokyo Laboratory! The location is a 2 min. walk to the Tawaramachi station and a nearby Family Mart. Staying here made going around Asakusa-Ueno super easy. Would def stay here again on our next Tokyo visit. Grace

Basic Room in Heart of Asakusa ”
Stayed in Room 305, a 3 Persons Private Room. PROS: The location in Asakusa was fantastic - a 4-minute walk to Tawaramachi Station, a 6-minute walk to Sensō-Ji Temple, and best of all, only a 4-minute walk to SEIYU in Asakusa ROX which is where you should go at night for discounted food! There is free tea, coffee, and water in the lobby 24/7 and the front desk provides one free mask per day. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. You can ask for toothbrushes and razors at the front desk for free. There is a communal bathroom and kitchen on the 6th floor, which you are welcome to use. Staff was very friendly and building was secured at night. CONS: The Wifi was very weak in the room, but worked okay in the lobby. The water from the shower leaks onto the bathroom floor so be sure to wear flip flops! The bed frames were a bit dusty and the view from the window was not great, but we cannot complain for the price we paid.

Pleasant stay at Khaosan Lab”
My second time staying at Khaosan Lab. My first stay dated five years ago. The hostel stays the same. Spend 2 nights here. Though I enjoyed my stay here, some things can be improved, especially for the cleanliness. Staff is fluent in english & friendly. The perks of this inn is very close to Senso-ji in Asakusa. Relatively close to station, family mart & lots of options to dine around the area. If you decide to stay here, try the okonomiyaki restaurant next door called Sometaro. overall, it was an okay stay at Khaosan Lab.
