Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Kim for the warm welcome! We enjoyed our stay, room was very cozy and we loved the home cooked breakfast by Mrs. Kim. Though the weather was cloudy throughout our 2 nights stay, we still manage to catch an amazing sunrise view (from room) over Udo Island and Seongsan Ilchulbong!

If you are interested in going to Jeju, a stay in Kim's Cabin is definitaly a go! They are very helpful with picking up and dropping of all your bags with the car (since the only down is a 10-minute walk from the nearest busstop). But also tend to drop you off in the morning if you want to visite somewhere nearby and help you planning your optimal day on Jeju. Also it's a traditional breakfast (Korean), which I thought was really nice and plenty to start off your day fully charged. Like I said the rooms are very spacious with nice views and everything you need is available. Also laundry was very quick which really helped us out!

Unfortunately the location is a bit far off the main road. Not suitable for backpackers without any means of transport. Even GPS did not find the place Had to ask locals who speak no English to find the directions.

a lovely little place for groups”
me and my friends stay at kims cabib for two nights in the family room. the room is cute and lovely like a camping house, we had great time there! kim is kind and helpful and helped us in arranging transportation and our siteseeing. however the hostel is a bit far from town, there are nothing nearby and you have to take taxi to everywhere. its close to sunrise park (took around 20 mins with bus). be careful if you get there at night, the road is very dark and difficult to find. apart from the the quietness in the neighborhood, everything is good.

Great place, but far from town”
This guesthouse is a nice getaway right on the Jeju Olle Trail. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have a cabin feel. The location is quite far from town though. If you plan on doing the sunrise hike, I would recommend staying closer to town. But if you want a nice, peaceful weekend away, this is the place for you!

Kim's cabin, the best guest house ever!!!”
Kim's cabin is the best guest house I've ever stayed.It was my first time to visit Jeju and I did not prepare enough for the travel. After a little talk with Mr Kim, he showed me where to go, how to reach there, where to eat and even where is the best spot to watch the view!!! Kim became my personal tour guide!!! Started with Ms Kim's homemade delicious food in the morning my trip was totally filled with joy and fun!!!Also the happy little puppy-Mr Kevin will always make your day. I have stayed at Kim's for three days and I did not want to move, it was a warm and a cozy place that you could relax yourself. Strongly recommend Kim's cabin to every traveler!

Modern and clean ”
Brief but enjoyable. Loved the design. Very comfy sleeping despite on the floor. Everything was like new. It was like 4 star experience really.

Kims Cabin is really clean and comfortable to stay at. The house looks beautiful as well as the room. The only drawback is the location is remote and if you are reaching at night it may be a bit difficult to find the place. The host, Mr Kim and his wife were very helpful and friendly. Mr kim helped us to locate the place, as we were reaching quite late at night (around 9pm+), he has sent us to a restaurant for dinner. He even helped us to plan for our itinerary and set gps for us. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Good Guesthouse near Seongsan area”
It was a good experiance to stay here although the location was bit difficult to find but at least we had rent a car so it was not a big issue for us. We love the natural environment and the guesthouse can view sunrise from Seongsan Ichulbung. Nice and warm owner treat us with very nice local breakfast

Good for short stay”
Hosts were friendly, they helped us to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs to our room when we were out travelling. Breakfast was seafood porridge but it was the same every morning, it was good but could have more varieties. Place was a slightly isolated, settle your dinner before heading back.

Tranquil nature and fantastic staffs ”
My parents and I stayed at Mr Kim's guesthouse in the middle of April and we love everything here. Although it's located quite far from business district and other attractions in the south, we had such a wonderful time staying here. Mr. Kim speaks fluent English so he helped us adjust our plan every day. Walking up a bit of olle#1 in early morning was very pleasant when the birds started chattering, woodpecker and eagle, and the sun was rising at Seongsan Ilchulbong. We love to be in nature like this and not a fan of shopping so everything here offered what we expected. We also love homemade breakfast served by Mr. Kim and his wife. The family room on the second floor was spacious and clean, equipped with kitchenware and the plus side was that we could see Udo and Seongsan from here. We would highly recommend this place for anyone who want to quietly spend leisure time in nature!

Perfect stay for the start of Olle Route 1”
Kims Cabin Guesthouse is located about 10 minutes along the start of Olle Route 1. It's the perfect place if you are looking for a cosy quiet place to stay. The guesthouse is relatively new - it's very clean and well designed. Stayed in the 6-bed dorm for females - bed was comfortable, there was also ample space in the room. Shower was hot and good water pressure. Mr Kim is very friendly and helpful - highly recommended!

Relaxing stay”
The room has a big window which you can see sunrise in the morning. It is on top of the mountain, starting point of the Olle course 1. The owner is very nice, we met the owner's niece when we check in and were served by her since she spoke fluent English (actually I'm surprised and pleased to be welcomed by them as they stood waiting at the front door for us to stepped out of our rented car at their car park). The room was nice and comfortable, and fully equipped. We were served with delicious and healthy congee (cooked by the owner) as breakfast. It was a wonderful experience staying there. Too bad for we didn't have enough time to spend for another night there.
