Amazing hotel in a great location. Cleanliness, food, customer service were excellent! The only thing about the food that I didn’t like was there weren’t a lot of options when I was there. It was just Italian based meals being offered as a majority. However I was told the food menu changes depending on the seasons of the year. There should be more varieties in the food choice especially since people from all over the world visit the hotel. Other than that, the food was delicious especially the garlic sautéed shrimp which I so much enjoyed. Thank you Riku, Jen, and all employees of NOHGA AKIHABARA HOTEL and also a big thank you to the owner. I felt at home!

Great Staff, Food & Location”
It was an enjoyable stay at Nohga Hotel Akihabara. Staff were friendly, spoke a decent amount of English and were helpful. My friend lost her ring at the train station and the staff kindly helped us call the 2 train stations she thought she might have dropped her ring at. As we were out sight seeing, the staff left us a note in our room. And the staff also asked us again when we were checking out if she found her ring. So sweet! Food wise, there is an Italian restaurant on the ground level. Pasta and pizza were magnifica! So delicious! We also had the roast lamb, which was done to perfection. Do make a reservation as the place is always crowded with both locals and foreigners. Guess that speaks for itself the quality of the food. Location is a short 5min walk to the Akihabara station and a few other non JR stations. There are interesting little F&B shops around the hotel. There seems to be a very popular ramen shop opposite the hotel with a queue everyday. My only grumble is about the room. The one we ended up with was too small for my liking and we were assigned a room on the lowest floor. As we were on the lowest floor, the windows were all fully "tinted" and we had no view and could smell food and cigarette smoke in the evening. Their bigger sized rooms are few and were not available on the dates I needed, otherwise I would have gotten their Deluxe or Superior rooms. Other than that, this hotel is a great place to stay. I will consider to stay here again next time if I am in Tokyo, but will have to make sure I book earlier to secure a bigger room. Hair dryer is powerful enough to do a salon quality blow dry and water pressure is good despite being on the lowest floor. They also have a lot of interesting Japanese channels on TV. Good job Nohga Hotel Akihabara! Looking forward to next time.

A hidden gem in Akihabara”
Four and a half stars. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and if we are back we would stay in this hotel again. -Location: walking distance near many Akihabara attractions and restaurants/ cafes, it is 12-15 minutes walking distance to Akihabara train station - Staff: very polite and always trying really hard to help. The only drawback is that many don’t speak English very well so have your translation apps ready if you will like to communicate - Breakfast- we did not pay to have the breakfast included every morning, but we payed for it on our last day. One of the best breakfast (it was more of a brunch) we have had in a long time. Multiple courses of salad, soup, freshly baked Italian bread, deli meat and your choice of different Italian style eggs. I knew we were going to be leaving early many days and did not want to be tied down to breakfast and instead wanted to explore around, but it is a great choice if you must have something to eat before going on your way. Room: very clean, awesome garden style shower and the toilet was awesome, smaller style Japanese room (but that is standard across Japan). Very comfortable bed and pillows. They will accept your pre-paid Yamato transport luggage, but they will not help you set it up for your next destination which was a bit disappointing. But there is a convini store 1 minute walking that is on the next street (I think it was a Family Mart) and we were able to do it through them. You ask for the pink slips (one for each bag) and then you can do it through them pretty easily, so at least it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. I would suggest you use this service, hauling your luggage around from the airport via public transportation is doable but a pain. We did it on our way there, but used the luggage transport when transferring to another city and it made it so much nicer. Lobby is located on the second floor and you go through the pizzeria to get to the elevator

The hotel put so much details from lobby to room music, we were so impressed with the all the details entailed. Much better than another hotel chain A*A for the same price.. Just a block away from Akihabara and all the arcades and anime stores. Lots of restaurants close by, including a popular ramen shop right in front of the hotel. We stayed for 4 days and really enjoyed the size of the room and the big bed. The bar was great as well. We didn’t try the food or buffet breakfast but will next time. Most important, Akihabara station that runs in the JR line is 5 min away as well as the Ginza line. Thanks for an amazing stay!

When I first opened the door to my room, the double bed was much bigger than expected, it's king sized! The room style is exactly what is in the pictures, minimalistic and cozy. My favourite part is actually the bathroom, it is SO clean! The water pressure from the showerhead is strong and it is so nice to wash up at the end of the day. GREAT location, 5mins walk to Suehirocho station, about 8mins to Akihabara station. Ginza/Marunouchi/Hibiya/JR line are very accessible. Convenience stores are very close by, donki is across the street and there's many restaurants around. Just 2 points to note in the room I stayed in, there isn't much space to open up your luggage and also no closet space, you can only hang up your outerwear at most. I would say it's an average sized hotel room in Tokyo. But tbh, great hotel to be staying at, the staff at the reception and the restaurant are so friendly and also fluent in English. Very trendy hotel, highly recommend!!!

Absolutely clean hotel, the staff were so very nice and accommodating. The hotel was very calm and well looked after. The shower was particularly nice. I would recommend as a good location for exploring Akihabara. We loved being able to go out at night and go to the arcades and be just a few steps away from being back in the hotel.
