Good Quality Near Trolley ”

Good quality, free parking, near trolley, but this takes time to reach downtown sights. A couple of mile walk to downtown. Free coffee but no free breakfast.. Nice views of river

Great service with very welcoming staff. Very informative about what to do in the City even provided a map. Dogs loved walking around the property even had a lil doggy area.

Pretty place and great staff ”

The view of this place is really neat, right on the inter coastal. Breakfast was much better than average but the staff is what made it really good. Rooms are clean and very pretty gardens. Small enough to feel just right and close to downtown but a trolly away from everything. Train goes right by which can be an adjustment but we got use to is within one night.

Close to old town”

We have stayed at this location previously under a different franchise name, but this time was so much better. The room had been completely made over with tiled floor throughout, new paint work ( interesting method of separating room functions through paint colour change) and beautiful walk-in shower, perhaps one of the best we have found. Staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast was well prepared and the staff made some awesome waffles! Definitely the place to stay in St Augustine.

Haven’t stayed in other St. Augustine hotels in almost 10 years”

So we can’t compare our recent hotel experiences. But our room was nice and had recently been updated. Only rooms on the back side of the hotel have a water view if that is important to you. The free breakfast was just adequate. The staff was welcoming and quite amiable.

Pool area not kept up, chairs falling apart, construction around pool and lobby. Way too pricey for so few amenities

Good value for the money. Very comfy bed.decent amenities. Only complaint was my room smelled a little of dog... it's a dog friendly place. Pool was nice and wifi worked well. I would stay there again!

The staff accommodated both early check in and late check out on short notice. Super friendly and helpful. The Ponce will be my go to when we visit again.

Towels were huge and fluffy, not like the skimpy towels in other motels. It is a work in progress but nothing that effects visitors and their stay...beautiful pool ; coffee available 24/7. When everything is finished this will be one of the best in St. Augustine.
