My boyfriend and I made a reservation here after there was a mistake with a different reservation. The staff was helpful. The hotel and room were very clean. The hotel was under going renovations while we were there, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. The only down side was, parking was a little tough to come by in the lot right at the hotel. There were 3 ‘satellite’ lots near by and we were lucky enough to get into lot 2. But I bet during peak season it can be difficult to get a good space. Everything else was up to my standards.

Weekend getaway ”
Everything was perfect. Great staff, room was clean, speedy checkout, Starbucks on site got all my coffee lovers, just a tip to others their working on parking deck you may have to utilize the parking across the street. It’s literally across the street so no biggie. I would definitely book this resort again

WiFi not free and expensive.Free parking a plus. Water park and amusement park not open on our dates which we were unaware of. Ocean awesome but waves and currents strong and unable to swim for a couple of days. Not allowed to use plastic inflatable air bed in water as they can burst and leave a mess had to be canvas with a specific length of rope attached.Life guards present on the beach areas.Our stay April 3-10 2019.probably lots more to do later in the season but we still enjoyed the ocean as waves although cold initially.A great holiday!!!!

It was a great place to stay. The staff was so helpful and friendly the only thing we didn’t like is you couldn’t open the doors to go out on the balcony.

Cons were the TV didnt work in the bedroom,parking can be a pain but they are building a new parking garage and the toilet stopped working our last night around 9pm so had to go all the way to the lobby to use the restroom. They couldve probably fixed it but it was so late that we just waited and told them at checkout so although it was an inconvenience,it wasnt the hotels fault. Was only there for 3 days but it was a nice place.

Westgate is not for me”
Westgate is Time Share Hotel, our family wish we would have somewhere else first thing they have no parking places, you have go to three different parking places , they do not clean your room and you pay service fee and resort fee so why you not clean or bring you towels, you have to call for some. I feel sorry if you are the elder or handicap. The resort if pretty clean and nice pools for the kids but I don`t like riding looking for parking place because all their parking spaces is for their construction. I hope this help you make your decision .

Bathroom was dirty.... but the came up and Recleaned it, per request. It was a great weekend price of $60 per night. I would stay here Again, only if they offered this price or better.

1. Gave unauthorized person a key to my room 2. Dirty tub -took forever to send some one so they changed my room 3. Bathroom floor had water on it ...ended up back in the prior room 4 . No phone in the room overall spent majority of my time back n forth to front desk.

Stay somewhere else”
Was very disappointed. Paid for a king suit, drive 6 hours get there and they tell me they have to put me in a queen suit. I got the king bed bc I'm to tall for a queen bed. Got a cheaper room for the king room price, I'm sure my ethnicity had a factory in moving me to a cheaper room even though I paid for the king suit. Not a very good feeling after spending this much money. The entire time the hallways and all the facilities smelled like pot, people next door were smoking pot in their room and it was coming into ours. The parking lots are awful, the expect you to park 4 blocks away and carry all your bags. I tried to park at the front door and take my bags to my room the rent a cops told me I couldn't leave my truck there for 5 minutes to carry my bags up. Their suggestion was to leave my bags outside the front door on the curb and drive 4 blocks, then walk back to get my belongings, if they were still there. This will be the last time I stay in the hotel. Myrtle beach continues to go down hill.

Construction site”
Right now Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort is a construction site. No accessible balcony. Pool area is closed. When all this is finished, I'm sure it's a nice hotel. Right now, it's not.

Pretty nice oceanfront hotel. I just didn’t feel clean in the bathroom or bedsheets. A couple of different stains or scuffs. Pool water was to gross to go in. Staff could’ve been friendlier... We did get at good price tho!
