You get what you pay for”
We booked this hotel in a hurry as it was 2-3 days before the holy week and we found this hotel which was clean and was not very far of the tourist spots like the tanauan falls and the umiray falls. The rooms were clean, spacious while the comfort room could have been better if the shower had a divider for the water as the whole comfort room floor was wet when you take a shower. The owners which were filipino and danish hence the hotel name Fil-Dane Inn, were very friendly and the staff too were very friendly too! The restaurant-bar is only open on saturdays,but the food was great and the restaurant which could have looked liked a garage was cool as the ambience and design of the restaurant was spot on for a provincial restaurant. Overall I would give it a 4/5 stars. Cheers to the owners!

Located just a few hundred meters from the center of Dingalan; ATM (and bank), bus terminal, restaurants and all sorts of shops. And if you want to go further, a trike will take you for very little. There was a Restobar open (weekend) with live music of good quality, free entrance and good tasting food at very fair prices. We had a great evening there. The staff was very helpful through out our stay, and actually seemed to enjoy their work ! :) WIFI worked fine. And there was no construction going on. Also worth mentioning is the environmental considerations with solarpanels and a small windmill. Nice green thinking ! Will come back for sure. Next time for a longer stay :)

Decent low budget rooms.”
The rooms were ok; comfortable beds, aircon, TV and hot water all OK. Nobody in the Reception area when we arrived. We had to walk around the back of the main building to find any workers. They were busy on their cellphones. The advertised swimming pool was empty. 2 dogs continuously barking but the noise was not so loud from our room.

Description does not match reality”
I have travelled to more than 32 countries and many of them multiple times, like Philippines. In all my years I have seldom experienced such a disceprancy between description in Agoda and reality: Internet in all room: Not true. About 75% of the rooms had no internet. And the remaining 25% had only a weak signal. I had to sit at the door to have some signal. I even confirmed the Internet availability with Lei Hofman before my arrival because internet is essential during my travel, and it was confirmed. TV: only 3 TVs available and you have to pay 100 peso extra if you want one. Pool Billiard: Closed and not accessible. Half of the Inn is still under construction. This is not mentioned in the description either. All my statements were documented via photo.

We spend two nights at Fil Dane Inn and enjoyed our time a lot. The owners are very caring and made us feel at home. They gave a lot of tips what to do and see in Dingalan and the surrounding area, which turned out to be a hidden gem. The accommodation is sparkling clean, parking space available and if you need it: the WiFi is super fast and reliable. We highly recommend Fil Dane Inn and will come again.

onze eerste kamer had geen tv , twee aparte bedden , geen spiegel in badkamer , kikker verwelkomde ons , een stoel ook geen kleding hangers of kapstok of kast , , dit was de luxueste kamer zogezegd , gevraagd achter andere kamer , met dubbelbed en tv , gekregen ... geen hangers, badkamer vol mieren en wasbak verstopt enz ... internet heel slecht ... veel geduld en je moet beetje handig zijn... ochtend ontbijt gevraagd ondanks hoge prijs , och ... waren ze vergeten ... eigenaar rijke oude Amerikaan ... die liever op zijn kont en tv kijkt dan een behoorlijk accomodatie uitbraad n ook waren er werken aan de hang , blijkbaar al heel lang , modder aan de voeten , enz... kortom , het is het enige in de buurt , en dat weet hij , dus duur van prijs , evenveel betaald als een 5 ster hotel , maar was zelfs geen ster waard ,,, oja , voor ontbijt ... moet je wel even kleine km wandelen naar plaatselijk restaurant , maar verwacht geen koffie smorgens, niemand kon het maken ...
