Wonderful and like home”
This is a wonderful place. The staff are polite and good at English or Chinese. They will clean your bed every day, and also had a 24hour lobby. You can also take a rest in a hot pool. Only the place take a 10mins walk to Shinbashi station, it is not a problem to me. I really recommend it, and I lived for one month. Guys can trust my review.

Not your run of the mill capsule hotel”
The facility was very nice, the cabins were very clean and everything was in good shape. Location is excellent, too. Travelers should know - shared toilets; showers on another floor, cabin doors are screens (though you are provided a locking drawer for valuables), and the beds are typical Japanese rock solid platforms. No luxurious softness in the mattresses, as is common in this part of the world. Four stars on value because if you can't sleep with the hard bed and other people snoring then it can't be an excellent value.

stayed here for 6 nights. Place was good, tidy and clean. Staff is very polite and friendly. The cell doesn't have storage place big luggage but can place it on the walkway, so far its very secure. If can make a rack in inside the cell it would be perfect since there is still space above head. As for the bathroom, maybe additional closed shower room will be good (only have one) since i am not used to the public open japanese style shower.

Hotel is what it is. ”
You know its a capsule style so is what it is. The sad thing about my stay is that another guest was jerking off out loud about 3 ton4 times throughout the night. Someone kept yelling "enough is enough." It didn't help stop the problem staff didn't do anything about it.

Value for money”
Location wise, the accommodation is far from the main train station (JR line) but is close to several subway stations exits. However, it will take additional efforts to go to these subway stations. Facilities wise are good, staffs will do hourly checks and cleaning if needed. Cabin wise is good enough, sheets are clean but there's thin layer of dusts on the cabinet but not much of an issue. Staffs are helpful and they provide free juice, hot water, and other amenities which is available at the front desk.

The location is located at the office building area, a bit far to walk to the nearest station. The front desk staff is friendly and patient to explain and listen to the customers as I saw. they have a big hot bathtub but without any sauna or steam room. even though they do not provide any water or coffee, they have a fruit punch as a welcome drink at the lobby for all customers without limit.

I stayed at the First Cabin Haneda on my very first night in Japan and stayed at the First Cabin Atagoyama for my last. If I wasn't staying with my host family, I'd have stayed here for my entire trip. Although the location is a little bit tricky to find from Shimbashi St., the staff is super friendly are reliable. I had no problems at all during my stay. There is a great shower area which has everything you need: gel, shampoo and conditioner, face wash and even moisturizers. There is a smoking room in the lobby. A spa in the shower area, if you want to take a dip and relax your nerves. A great bar (where I tried Japanese whiskey and it was fantastic). The First Class Cabin is really comfortable to sleep in, much better than a hostel! (For a similar price!) The only downside was the lack of a free breakfast. For that room rate, I expected a basic breakfast at least, but I had to buy even my own coffee. Overall, for female solo travelers, it's super safe and very comfortable. 👌

Great facilities but not the best place to stay location-wise if you're a typical tourist ”
The good: The facilities and cleanliness of First Cabin were great-- there is a public bath with a host of lotions, toner etc for guests. Very clean too, I never once encountered a dirty toilet. Though I must add that there is only one private shower cubicle and one toilet for the entire ladies floor of approximately 15 or more cabins. It wasn't a problem for me as I was staying there during the non peak period on weekdays and a lot of the guests were locals who were perhaps accustomed to bathing communally so I never had to wait too long to use the private shower stall but it might be an issue during more crowded periods. Stayed in the first class cabin and was very happy with the spaciousness and comfort level of my cabin. Overall I have a really good impression of First Cabin facilities etc wise, but I wouldn't stay at the Atagoyama branch again due to its location. While it is about a short 4 min walk from the nearest subway station (Onarimon), this particular station is not very well connected to the main subway stations for accessibility to typical tourist spots like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku etc. (though onarimon Station is the closest station to Tokyo Tower). I spent a lot of time transiting from Onarimon Station to other subway stations to get to Shibuya etc so I wouldn't recommend this particular branch if you're a typical tourist. But definitely consider other First Cabin branches that are more well-connected and accessible.

I stayed at two of the First Cabin hotels on my last trip to Japan and loved them! Nagoya and Atagoyama. They both had a fantastic onsen pool that was sorely needed after a long day of walking around Japan. I would definitely stay at this location again! Clean, upscale feeling, plenty of room to do your hair and get ready in the morning or at night. Comfortable, clean and the staff at this location went over and above to help recommend some great local places to eat and hold my luggage the last day after I checked out. Great place! : )

Cabin is better than capsule”
This is the first time I've tried cabin and i love it! The price is similar to capsule hotel but it provides a bigger space for you to stand up and put you luggage. The place is very modern, equipped with hi-tech gadget, very neat & clean. *I love the lavender shower gel and they sell it at the front desk. Its a walking distance to Tokyo Tower, Zojo-ji Temple & Shimbashi area (this is where working people go for dinner)

Great value for solo travelers ”
First Cabin offers a good middle ground between "business hotel" and capsule. Due to a booking error, I was able to upgrade from a business class to first class capsule which has standing room next to the bed and space for luggage and hanging jackets. Enjoyed the men's spa/onsen facilities and other ameneties such as the vending machines and smoking room. Breakfast offerings could use more protein as it is mostly soup, salad and pastries. Also a lack of three prong outlets for charging laptops that have a ground on their socket.

Several train stations are reachable within walking distance. Convenient stores are nearby too. I had quite a long stay at first cabin. It was a pleasant stay with complete facilities and amenities. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Simple food for breakfast, I personally love their pastries. I will book again if I am visiting Tokyo again.

It was my first time to stay in a First Cabin branch and I was pleasantly surprised with all of the amenities and the level of comfort that I experienced during my stay - definitely a huge upgrade from the capsule hotel concept! Since then I always look for a First Cabin branch if I go to Japan.

Good for short term ”
Stayed for one night. I had booked a first class room, so there was place to put my luggage within my cabin. Overall the experience was good. Be aware you can hear others (really not sound proof), so if you’re a light sleeper it might not be the best option. Bed also has a firm mattress, so be aware of that (didn’t bother me, but it could for others). Facilities are very clean and the check in and out process was quick and efficient. Breakfast was nothing special, but I had it included in the reservation, otherwise not worth the 700 yen they charge if you buy it on the spot. Overall, I would say it’s alright for a short term stay (1-2 nights max), but long term I would definitely try finding something else. Nonetheless, it was very clean and the facilities are in excellent condition.

As far as capsules go, it’s hard to beat FC. Larger than most capsules. Staff is very sharp and multilingual. The lounge is much bigger and better than almost any other FC. Vending machines right in the lounge. Only a few blocks to Shimbashi Station and Torranomon Hills. Also very close to Tokyo Tower, World Trade Center, 2 big parks, and lots of shops + restaurants. 2 blocks from a very big post office. Only downside is no luggage storage on floors, but the staff will store your luggage for a couple days in their office for free if you have it shipped. Overall, very good, as far as cabins + capsules go.

This is not your normal 'Capsule' hotel, the size of the cabin was more that to a small room and was a great price for the serviced offered. I found the laundry and shower area to be nice feature of the hotel and the staff are very friendly and gave me some great tips for local restaurants to try in the area. I would definitely recommend my friends to stay at this hotel.

Great place for business travellers”
The place is exceptionally clean, staffs are very polite and helpful, love that they have all shower amentities provided. They have all the basic need for business and lower budget travellers. Location ia great too, just 10 mins from Shinbashi station with 2 Family Mart along the way. The only down side is that rooms are not sound proof at all(which is understandable), easy to be woken up by morning hustles of other travellers.

Good location, easy access to JR station and metro station, 24 hours convenient stores around within 3 mins walk, but very few restaurants here, need to go to another district with 10 mins walk. The big luggage needs to be stored by Front Desk, no self service locker, only one shower room so you have to queue up for some times. Cabin and all other facilities are very clean, new and bright. Good experience here:)
