"The hotel is a short walk to the local station, maybe five to ten minutes. You can walk to Ginza Mitsukoshi in twenty minutes and the fish market in fifteen. You must visit the market in the day, bustling, crowded and fascinating. At night it is quiet but the sushi restaurants are amazing. So the hotel is well located. It is spotless, very well cleaned. The facilities are good, the restaurants are very nice, but maybe not the best, hence four rather than five stars. However the sushi bar was amazing, a bit expensive, but great fun and tasty. The room was well laid out, good sized lounge, comfy bed and great bathroom. The receptionist, Yukiko, was the best I have experienced in a five star or any star hotel around the world, and I have stayed in a few. She combined politeness, friendliness, helpfulness and patience, an absolute star."

Imperial Hotel Tokyo

"It has been my favourite for the past few years. One of the oldest and prestigious 5 star hotel in Ginza area. It is situated close to the Imperial palace which makes it even more exclusive. Service needless to speak is good, 5 star hotel at a 6 star service level. "

"Love the stay at The Peninsula Tokyo! Hotel service was great! Especially the concierge team, thumbs up!! The hotel staff were super friendly, even escorted us to our room and introduced facilities in the room. Also, the location of the hotel is superb! Within walking distance of many great restaurants and shopping centers in Ginza! Will definitely stay at this hotel next time we visit Tokyo!! (Y) (Y) (Y)"

Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi

"Probably the best hotel I have stayed in. Everything was just perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was great, just next to Tokyo station. The room amneties were top notch and had a great view of Ginza My kids loved the hotel. At check in, they were given toys, winning then over immediately. Once in the room, there was a candy bowl with a great collection of munchies. The hotel brought a birthday cake for my daughter (it was her bday during the stay), and that was a very warm gesture. Much appreciated. Will definitely recommend this hotel, esp if you have young kids. This is the place to stay in Tokyo, no doubt. "
