Nice Lodge in the National Park”

If you expect a 5* Hotel with pool and party you are at the wrong place. This Lodge is directly in the rain forest. Our room was with A/C / fridge and hot shower. We chose a trip trough the jungle and where guided by two biologists who run the lodge during their master thesis. Best guided tour ever. They tell you everything about the spiders and snakes and it’s easier to find those rare animals with their help. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the lodge to all who want to unwind and be closer to nature.

Beautiful location, knowledgable team”

Fantastic location, with individual two bed chalets/huts. Restaurant area overlooks impressive rapids on the river. Bikes to hire on premises which can be used to explore the tracks nearby. Get up before dawn for the best chance of seeing and hearing the primates and cycle along the track to the Timary Forest. Bring a powerful torch with you. A visit to the nearby island, which the Lodge will be happy to arrange gives an insight into the work to perfect the release back into the wild of the primates they have taken in rescued. Food is quite basic, but good. Beer available to buy. Now you are in the bush so expect some insects in your room. A mosquito net hangs above your bed for protection. Hot water is solar powered so showers are warmer at the end of the day than morning. In fact they are bracing in the morning. 😀 Very knowledgeable team running the lodge and happy to help. Gibbons and rapids”

The pickup service and drop off at the highway bus stop proved to be very convenient and worth the money. The "tent" rooms overlooking the river rapids have the amenities and comfort of a regular hotel room. The staff are efficient and friendly and the food is high quality. The highlight was the early morning hike into the quiet forest, which came alive with sound as the light grew. Our guide led us to the gibbons by listening for their morning song. It was wonderful to watch three gibbons; mother, father and baby, swinging high in the forest canopy.

Beautiful sorroundings”

The staff was really friendly and helped us organize everything. The food on site was delicious however the menu card was a bit small for a longer stay. It’s the only place you can eat unless you leave the national park what requires a walk and a boat ticket 2 ways. The bed and towels and bath was clean however the room itself wasn’t so. But I guess that a bit of the charm when living in a forest! The guides were great as well, however for the high price I think you can save a lot of money by doing the walks on your own. Of course then you miss the information and maybe also the chances to see some animals. All in all it was a very expensive but also special experience for us, unlike any other!

As solo traveller a great family feel to the place. Also other environmentally swtched on people made me feel at home and very much engaged with the ethos of the lodge. Wonderful

Great to be in the park and hear the animals at night”

Had a good time here, host was nice. Beds and bathroom were decent. The amazing experience was due to our guide. Piyush (guide) has amazing stories and when we were on a hike with him, he spots all the things you want to see in the jungle. We would only return if he was there.

It is a good place for "Nature Lovers"rich and young.. It is the only good thing. For restaurant, room,cleanliness it could better for this price.

Would not recommend”

Only thing that separates this hotel from the ones right outside the park is that it is in the park and the food is terrible. Super over priced and found hairs in food.

In the thick of it ”

Yes this place is rustic and yes it needs some work but it does have a certain charm that sticks with you long after you have moved on. A delightful owner and staff, good food and the joy of being in the middle of the park rather than stuck on the other side of the ferry, make it a great place to experience Cat Tien.

Forest Floor Lodge”

While this place may have been great 5 years ago it has gone down hill. The staff at resort (well 1 guy with english) were lovely snd helpful. But the owner and other staff that dont work there were terrible. They rip you off, don't help and are obsessed with money. They tried charging me for room twice and failed to organise what was promised. Dont trust them. Again staff at place were lovely.

Nice place with great staff”

If you are looking for a quite place to enjoy your holiday, it is a great choice. However, if you are looking for luxurious experience with 4-star facility and services, you would be dispointed.

Eco-Lodge in a perfect place”

This is a quiet small hotel on a perfect spot, overviewing the river! All personal is extremely helpfull. You can also get bicycles for conquering the park! The hotel is run by an english gentleman and hiis wife who knows also everything about the local wildlife. In total: The perfect place for nature lovers and people that want to relay from Saigon!

Dommage”

Le cadre est juste fabuleux dans la réserve de Cat Tien au milieu de la jungle mais l’hôtel en lui même a besoin d’un rafraîchissement et de plus d’entretien. Merci à Ionnes pur sa patience et de nous avoir montré un éléphant!

Super Ausgangsort/ mangelnde Leistung”

Super Lage (im Dschungel, am Fluss). Hatten ein Bungalow dies war gut, würden aber das Zelt empfehlen, da es am Fluss mit einer tollen Terrasse liegt. Hatten ein absolut super Halbtagesausflug mit einem Dschungelexperten. Angestellte wirkten unbeholfen, chaotisch. (Wäscheservice ungenügend, Organisation der Touren ungenügend.)
