Clean but small”
The rooms were clean and equipped with toiletries that were replenished daily. Location was decent, about a 10 min walk from Shimbashi station. Counter staff was very friendly and accommodating, and luggage can be left there prior to check-in. Only complain is that the room is rather small. While it is a double, can only comfortably house one person, with two people being too cramped.

Another good stay at the APA Hotel in Sh-Or. Great location for three train stations. Easy to get to Downtown Tokyo and Roppongi. Room is good but a bit small. Soft bed. Good value for the money paid.

Small but functional”
My friend and I booked a double non smoking room. The hotel also said that 6th to 15th floor are non-smoking floor. However, everytime we entered the room, it smelled like smoke. Room is very very small, hard to open two medium suitcases without bumping to each other. Pillow is flat. Bed was made in the morning, but was lacking. Amenities are complete. Location is quite a walk from Shimbashi station. There are convenient stores nearby. The walk from station to hotel is filled with izakayas and adult bars that are not child friendly.

Air condition is not adjustable”
The air condition is not adjustable and noisy. I went there during winter but the room is very warm and stuffy. Thank God I can open the window to let the winter air in. Can't imagine in Summer and not willing to try out. Other than that everything else is decent.

Small Room and hard to find location ”
As per their webpage the furthest is 9 mins from JR station. However upon exiting the station it is so difficult to find. Located at some back alley. Especially if you do not know the language it's really like finding needle in the ocean. Room is extremely small even for a single petite female. Could not open my luggage in the room. For the price and location it is definitely not value for money. Staff was however friendly allowing me to shorten my stay without penalty. I was unhappy with Agoda though to refund me a lower value claiming the 1st night stay was more expensive. This was not indicated in the booking that room rate was not same on both night. I have to call Agoda to rectify this. Though they did refund, why must customer go through such trouble for their non transparency.
