Nice alternative to a hostel”
If you don't know what a capsule hotel is - It's just like a dorm in a hostel except that instead of bunk beds you get a "capsule" - a small bed-size cabin that you can close and have some privacy in. I went to this hotel since I prefer my private spot and it doesn't cost much more than a hostel. The place is clean though in serious need of renovation. Your capsule has a light, power outlet and a radio-alarm clock. You can close your capsule but unfortunately not lock it. You do get a small locker though it only fits small items (there are also larger coin-operated lockers in the common room) Note that the common room is a smoking area. The dorms are fully gender-separated, i.e. male only and female only, there are no mixed dorms but it doesn't really matter since a capsule only fits one person anyway. Separation is by floor. The location is excellent, just in front of the metro. Staff are friendly but don't speak English. There's free WiFi but only in the common room.

Great location, great price. Can't recommend unless you're really strapped for cash.”
Friendly staff, great place to keep your stuff. WiFi unavailable from capsule but like a minute from the train station. Do not bring a family or loved one but good for solo. The shower is shared so be comfortable with your genders nudity.

Très bien”
the hotel was an enjoyable stay but if you sleep in the capsule your required to vacate it by 10:30 to allow for cleaning and leave the hotel even if you are there for more then one day.

Close to Asakusa Station and Shrine.”
Very friendly and helpful staff. Family business. Slightly touristy area because of famous shrine but easy to access other areas due to short walking distance of 1 min to Asakusa metro.

Well, at least the location was good”
This hotel is directly next to the metro lines and all the Asakusa attractions, by that's where the good ends. Strict check in at 3 (I was there at 2:45), dated and dirty. Bath area has mold and scum everywhere. Smells of smoke and everyone smokes everywhere. Wifi is broken, not expected to be fixed this month. TV is only for pay-per-view porn, no channel's offered to watch. No power outlet in the capsule to charge a device. No lockers for bags (they have pay lockers) and the locker they give is a tiny L shape that may fit the smallest backpack. No iron (the one time I actually needed it). On top of all that, they denied I paid online and then ran my credit card for a higher amount, than lost that receipt and wanted to run it again. This is the fourth capsule hotel I've stayed at, and the only one with these issues. Do your self a favor and look at other options before booking this property.

Good location and perfect place for a low budget travelers”
Very close to the Asakusa station, right behind Burger Kind (if somebody would have troubles finding it as me ;) Cheap accomodation but I felt nice and relaxed there., I enjoyed the little onsen and the view from the terrace. Pity the internet wasnt working.

Spooky, smelly, place doesn't look like the pictures!”
Location is near Asakusa station, this hostel looks very old, the hallway smells like cigarette and drunk people. It mixed of a hotel and hostel. The female hostel room is very spooky and dark. You got pyjama and towel but it smells weird and old. So many empty bed and they put me on the top bed and it is a struggle to get to the top. The bath are not look like the picture! Only have one public bath and you have to share with other people. No electricity plug on your bed!! There are one beside the entry door and if you stay on the top bed is really a headache! need to go up and down with slippery steps and worry someone might took your phone/charger. Japanese won't steal your things, they are great and polite people but in hostel you are with people from everywhere so just be careful! The locker are very small, you can't put your luggage there! Shoes not allowed inside, you have to put on the shoes locker on the reception and need to ask for the keys if you want to go out! headache!

Au-dessus de la moyenne”
its value for money. but didn't like the facilities at different floor (but that's what you get for a budget stay, i guess). what would be nice would be a no-smoking policy throughout the facilities. common areas, lifts, etc all have cigarette smell (except the capsule).

Very dirty, stains everywhere.”
The location was pretty great right next to the station. The staff for the most part was good. But there was one older man we would just flat out refuse to help me. Outside of when I first checked in and he tried to make me pay after I already paid online. Whenever i would try and turn my key in and leave and he was there he would stand there not helping me hand gesture for me to wait while he got someone else to take my key. The only place to get Wi-Fi is on one floor but it's also a smoking room. So if your like me and hate smoke don't stay here. There's even a note on the door saying there have been thefts recently. Makes you really want to stay there. There's only public baths no private showers . I will never stay here again worst hotel experience I've ever had. Would never recommend. Extremely dirty with stained sheets. There was empty hole in my capsule where I assume a tv is supposed to go. No place to charge your phone in the capsule either.

fair overall with a small budget ”
staffs at front desk are quite helpful. Towel and a locker(outside the room) are provided. The most inconvenience is no plug in your capsule if you want to charge your phone and camera. Only one nearby the door. Bedsheet and general environment are clean.

Good experience with little money”
The place is near with asakusa station, after exit from the station, just turn left and you arrived. The capsule was good for little money, and recommended if you are looking for cheapest capsule hotel. not recommended for family stay. and for your consideration, the receptionist are very poor in english. I forgot to check the weather, in result after walking all around, my shoes were wet. I'm asking for the hairdryer, the old lady gave me spray instead. I was trying to explain so hard, then I give up.

The view from the bath !”
I sometime stay at this capsule hotel in Asakusa. The location is super good. It is right next to underground station and by the sumida river. The view from the bath on the top floor is soooooo good. But you might be peeped so be careful :)

Great value if you are ready for adventure ”
Hey very Japanese experience where you are provided with slippers to wear inside and pajamas and a toothbrush. The Bass is communal, but separated by gender. You are expected to sit on a small stool and shower before getting into the large warm tub. It's not as intimidating as it may sound in officially kind of fond of this is another culture for a while. Would definitely return. It's not sleek and modern and there is limited places to plug in electronics, if you're looking for local culture you come to the right place. Steph is accommodating and friendly, I speak enough English to get you where you need to go, but some translation aids on your part will make sure everything is accurate.
