Fantastique”

L'hôtel est bien placé dans un quartier animé et la mer à 50m. Départ de bus à 50m. Les chambres côté mer sont assez bruyantes à cause de la route front de mer .

Acceptable”

Hôtel bien situé mais ayant réservé une chambre avec un balcon, je n'ai malheureusement pas eu la bonne chambre. Aucune prise dans la salle de bain,. Aucune prise à proximité du lit. Chambre mal isolé, il faisait tellement froid !! Le seul point positif est le Rooftop. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel

Pas mal mais vraiment bruyant, car mal isolé intérieurement comme a l'extérieur. Position excentrée par rapport au centre ville (3/4 d'heure en bus) mais devant une belle baie Oui n rapport qualité prix de 3/5. Avec une bonne isolation phonique j'aurai i 4

Personnel très aimable mais emplacement moyen et un peu cher”

L'hotel est simplement convenable, un peu ancien, l'emplacement est en front de mer avec un arrêt de bus et quelques restos mais quand même pas très stratégique (sachant que le réseau de bus n'est pas fiable!). Il est un peu cher pour les prestations, le petit déjeuner est de piètre qualité, même si le personnel est très aimable et relève un peu l'ensemble. Ce n'est pas à fuir, mais tentez de trouver un peu mieux. Incontestablement si vous pouvez, préférez La Valette ou Meilleha Bay.

Fantastic location bus stops right outside. Great room. Fab breakfast lots of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Quick walk over to the ferry side. I would 1000 %return. Reception staff super helpful with regards to the best way to get to places 😁😎

Great staff and good location”

The hotel itself was old and in need of an update. However, the location was good as there was a bus stop right outside making it easy to get into Valletta and also to other destinations. The staff were very helpful, especially Ros on reception and Joe. I was upgraded to a top floor room (room 67) for the fantastic views and although my room didn't have a balcony, it had a huge front window to admire the view. Breakfast was 8 euros extra but I only opted to eat there a couple of times as the choice was limited and there wasn't much fresh produce. The only real issue I had with the hotel was with the electrical sockets. Fortunately I had brought my own 2 to 3 pin adapters together with a multi extension leas but there were only 4 sockets in the room, two of which were for the TV and side lamp. The other two had been misused and burnt out presumably by guests trying to adapt their plugs to the Maltese sockets! So I ended up using the extension lead with multi sockets which I had brought with me. This was a godsend as there are no sockets next to the beds!!! The rooftop pool area was a nice bonus as the views from there were amazing and it was a nice area to sit and wait for my airport transfer after checking out. On the whole I would recommend the hotel for budget holidaymakers but if you prefer a bit of luxury then this 3 star hotel is not for you.

I spent just one night in the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and the hotel. I chose the economy room, relatively basic but I got everything I needed. Excellent location.

Great hotel for the price”

I enjoyed my stay at The Carlton. Although I arrived several hours early, I was greeted warmly and invited to go to my room early. The hotel is just off Egnatia, so close to everything but quieter. The airport bus is just a block away. There's good security on the entrance door at night.

Great location, spacious rooms with balcony, good air con, good wifi, decent bed and bedding, helpful staff, great value for money.

Really good features, not so good basic things”

I recon this hotel is good. However, some basic things could be upgraded: - Wardrobe doors was falling from frames - Windows were a little bit destroyed - missing seals caused window to come inside the room, water was leaking through upper part of window. - Low pressure of water in the bathroom But these were only cons because: + Pool at the roof + Amazing view from the window + About 15 secs to bus stop (not kidding) + Really hot water in the bathroom + Electric kettle and hair dryer in the room + Air Conditioner in the room + Everyday cleaning service So at the end of the day it was great expirience to stay in this hotel.

Very good area with many public transport bus, 30 min directly to Valletta, or 10 min to pier with boat to go to Valletta for 1,50 Euro. Also the area by hotel is well to go by walk to St.Julian part.

Only sea vuew recomended”

I strongky unrecomended here to stay ir standarts, only 5-7floor sea view rooms, bicause of noise, very small dark and unxomfortable rooms. Staf was very frendly and solve our stay issue and change the room. But if you book a dooble be sure tgat you have it, we receved twin like douvle and bicause of unfortabke sleape of 2 separate beds toogether we asking to change. So. Hotell only for travellers, good lokation but only to sleap and spend tine outside. Breacfast is not recomended in the hotel outside is nany places to have a coffy and snacks

The hotel is pretty simple and average 3 star hotel. We were only sleeping in it, so it worked great for us. The floor wasn't cleaned when we came in, but the next day it was all cleaned and good. The bed wasn't comfortable for me, but it was ok for my partner. The only thing that we really didn't like was the breakfast. You can find much better food in cafes near by for the same price.
