Great location, price and comfort”
Easy to explore Shinjuku and other areas by foot from here as there are many attractions and good food close by. The room is quite new and well maintained. Staff was kind and helpful. Convenience store right underneath is very handy. The only slight inconvenience was ignoring the persistent characters that hang out on the street at night, offering to take you to strip clubs, but that is not the hotels fault :) I would definitely stay here again.

Service was excellent, the staff was friendly and even mentioned that we were able to check in early (which was at 11AM). They helped us out with the wifi as we encountered technical difficulties and it was in Japanese. The location was excellent, less than 10 mins from Shinjuku Station (Yamanote Line and Marunouchi Line). Room was also clean and a decent size.

Love the location, but ask the hotel for precise exit of the JR station and it is almost a straight line through the streets to the hotel. Colourful street with nice restaurants and girls' bars (discreet), can be noisy so tr to ask for higher floor rooms (we were on 11th floor). If your floor has smoke smell (rooms are non smoking, but seems many smoke in Japan everywhere), request for a different floor (they are obliging). Breakfast is decent, but Japanese selection is best.

Room was spacious. Have more than enough space. Good location. 3-5 minutes walk to Shinjuku Station. There are some good food location near to the hotel. Front desk was proficient. Housekeeping (Malla) do a great job cleaning up the room.

First Time In Citadines”
My husband and myself travel to Tokyo every year. This time we decided to bring the kids again. We decided to stay here than Sunroute Plaza bec we had to get 2 rooms. My kids are 13 and 10. It's convenient to have Lawson right at the ground level. i love that we get our rooms serviced everyday. The cleaners are lovely. Breakfast is nothing fancy but good enough to keep us full the whole day. After walking about 20k a day, it was good to go back to the hotel and lie down. It's great how clean it is, as long as you dont look at the carpet because they look a bit worn out. You need to take 2 lift to get to our room level. We were lucky to get the last room at the end of the hall so it was more spacious.

Hotel was comfortable and clean, with good service. Location was also very accessible to many places. However, the red light district is right opposite the hotel and we (2 girls) found it unsafe to stay out past 10pm. The double bed was also too tiny for 2 people.

Convenient location, near one of the 200 entrances to the labyrinthine Shinjuku station. Fantastic buffet breakfast, with everything you want (Japanese, Chinese & Western). There's a discount for pre-paying breakfast the day before at reception (if your room rate didn't include it). I made a booking for 3 nights with Booking.com (no pre-payment), then later added another night with Agoda (pre-paid). They managed to combine the bookings seamlessly, so I didn't have to check out & in again, or change rooms. No problem paying the final bill. Spotlessly clean and pleasant staff. Nice view from my 10th floor window of Golden Gai down below.

Great location for foodies!”
If you like convenience during your travel, this hotel is about a 10 min walk to Shinjuku JR Station. This makes travelling around Tokyo very easy on the feet. The Kabukicho area may be known to be the red light area but in terms of safety (it is Japan!), you have nothing to worry about at all!

Brilliant Location & value for money”
The location is brilliant. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Shinjuku Station. It is close to a variety of shops, restaurants etc. It has a Lawsons right next door for food & drinks. The staff are lovely and the rooms are great. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location”
Hotel is about 6-8 minutes walk to Shinjuku station and a minute away from Golden Gai. Although it is located in the red light district we never felt unsafe as the streets are pack with people. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and polite. There was some issues with the room we were allocated so we were upgraded to another. The room we were upgraded to was huge so it was a great bonus. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Tokyo.

Great Location”
The rooms are small but you can still fit 2 large suitcases open on the floor. You will just need to step over or walk around them. Everything is super clean and they provide shampoo, hair dryer, conditioner, body soap, toohbrushes and toothpaste. This hotel is very central and is only a few minutes walk from the famous Godzilla road. Just behind the hotel is Shinjuku Golden Gai. If location is a must for you then i would highly recommend staying here as it is only a 6-7min walk to Shinjuku station. There is also many food options around.

Our room actually looked out over Golden Gain in Shinjuku. We really loved the location as everything was very walkable and close. There's a lot of conbinis around as well as a Mr. Donut at the end of the street. Room was about average for Japan, but was comfortable and the shower was nice. There wasn't any noise from the street, and all of the employees were very nice and accommodating. A great option in the area.

Just a few blocks from 歌舞伎町 which has a lot of good restaurants and famous for night life. Yet, it is quiet downstairs with a convenient store. Front desk staff are very helpful and fluent in English.

Well located to everything including several local metro / subway stations. Clean and bright room. Nice bathroom. Also we’ll located to the Golden Gai for anyone fancying a tipple or two before bed! Would highly recommend!

Nice hotel in Shinjuku”
The internet is fast. Hotel room is very spacious in comparison to other hotels at this price range in the area. It is not too far away from Shinjuku station but you got to walk around 2 - 3 blocks which is not really a problem if you don't carry too much luggage. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast buffet is OK. Location wise for staying in Shinjuku is very good.

Great location, not far from the shinjuku central station, with endless dinning and shopping all around. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are relatively spacious and fully equipped.
