Fabulous villas, lovely pool, amazing staff & good snorkeling out the front. Breakfasts were great & we enjoyed a couple of dinners when offered also. Great recommendations for eating around the island from the Managers also. Use of the e- scooters was much appreciated as were the bikes for getting around slow style. Loved the whole experience. Thanks again everyone.

We stayed at Etu Moana last week - it is absolute paradise. All the activities you could want are right at the resort. There are handy escooters to get you around the island. Rooms are lovely and spacious. Jane the manager makes you feel super special and always so helpful, couldn't recommend more!

We stayed here for 2 nights after 5 night Luxury Escape stay at Pacific Resort. Felt lucky to be the last to stay apart from one other couple before they closed down as the border shut again. We were upgraded to a beachfront villa. It was lovely, spacious, great bathroom , big bed. The deck had a day bed and a lounger. Breakfast was excellent and delivered to our deck each day. They were not doing other food when we stayed which was a shame The pool was lovely, clean and deep. Plenty of sun loungers if the resort was filled up. Whilst the sea was very shallow in front of the resort 5 minutes along towards airport was a deep swimming 'hole' which was very deep and large. We loved our stay at Pacific Resort but it was very expensive. If we came back we would chose Etu Moana as its beautiful and has the place along beach to swim. I guess if you want full service and dont mind the price Pacific Resort is also a great choice. We hope to see you again next year Etu Moana

Pure Bliss - Everything you needed was right there and the staff so willing to accommodate”
We had a mixed bag of weather some good days and some bad. Even with the rain in late October, we had a great time relaxing in our Villa and swimming in the clear waters. The breakfast for me lacked variety and there was no meat, but everything was very fresh and plentiful. The villas are very spacious and clean.

Fantastic beach villas”
Only 10 villas in the entire property. Super relaxing and private. Great continental breakfasts. Wonderful beach and snorkeling right from the property. The staff is wonderful! The villas are great although the kitchens are basic. Highly recommend Etu Moana for couples looking for a special getaway.

A real gem on the beach.”
On the whole, everything was perfect: courteous and helpful staff, a great location and all the facilities we needed. We liked the honesty bar and the breakfasts were great, ideal. However, the same could not be said for the housekeeping. We found our room very grubby on arrival, We didn't expect to find the previous occupants' spit on the mirror, fingerprints on the cistern buttons, and the floors were very dirty. One of the first things we did was to sweep up, sand and dust including a dead insect from under the bed. A walk from the shower to the kitchen area in bare feet resulted in feet needing to be washed. Under and around the furniture was dusty and full of cobwebs, such a shame. We came back one day to the bin liner and its contents in the kitchen. The bin had evidently been emptied but the contents not taken away, there was a towel there too. One evening we came back to find both the front and rear doors unlocked, although we'd locked up before leaving that morning.

Kia Orana Michael, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Etu Moana Villas, we are very saddened to hear of your comments on Housekeeping, we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our rooms and this is certainly not the standard we expect - please accept our sincere apologies and we will discuss this with the housekeeping team. Sadly at this time of year we are turning rooms - check out 10am and check in before 12noon (as you flew in on the 11.20 flight and checked straight in) - it is no excuse but a good reminder that perhaps a later check in to a perfectly clean room would be in order. We are pleased other parts of your stay were great.

Amazing staff, issues with facilities”
Staff were friendly, intelligent, personable and kind. Especially Isabella and Te Rangi - I hope they are appreciated by management. My shower was cold-luke warm the entire stay. I reported it three times but no change. I borrowed a hotel push bike and discovered it had been put away broken in two - held together by the seat post - after the broken shaft went through my thigh resulting in two visits to hospital, stitches, and 3 days lost of a 4 day holiday. I didn't give the staff a 5 star because I was really surprised and annoyed that the managers who welcomed me on arrival disappeared into thin air after my injury. I was expecting that they would check in with me and maybe offer to at least cover my (tiny) bar tab. Good points other than what I've rated already: - roomy - villas are private - the resident cats are lovely (though two have flea eczema so I need regular flea treatment) - honesty bar is a good idea - very pretty grounds

We are sorry we were not around when you had your bike accident (we understood the seat was raised too high, it was not previously broken) and as the Managers who greeted you we happened to be off the island in Rarotonga (for 2 days), hence we did not see you. We were in constant contact with Isabella and were well aware of the happenings, we believed she had taken care of everything with you and you did not require us to make direct contact. We have regular flea treatment for the cats now, they are all in great condition. you will be pleased to know we very much appreciate Isabella and Terangi and know they are very capable in our (very brief and unusual) absence from the property. we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you in the future.

Really lovely place to stay. Luxurious accommodation with excellent indoor bathroom (as well as outdoor shower). Pristine beach, hammock, best snorkelling spot, very secluded and peaceful (apart from the wild noisy chickens). Great breakfast, fun honesty bar. Only challenge was finding dinner as no restaurant on site, no bus service and limited taxis, but able to walk 15min to next resort. Staff also extremely helpful and friendly. As a well-travelled couple with high expectations, we couldn't fault it. Well worth the price tag, we'll come again.

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location. The villas are stunning, everything you need to be happy and comfortable. The staff couldn’t be any lovelier, you really feel they go the extra mile and make you feel very welcome. Aitutaki is a beautiful island, very expensive but I think this is the best accommodation on the island and would thoroughly recommend it.

Agoda will not be transparent with any currency transactions if you choose (or have no option) to pay later than when you booked the accommodation. They will use their own currency exchange rate and diddle you out of what the real value is. I will not use them again.

Aitutaki is a neat place and Etu Moana helped make it magical. Beautiful landscaped property, great beach and lagoon at your doorstep, delicious breakfast every morning- would be hard to top this anywhere.
