Wonderful and like home”
This is a wonderful place. The staff are polite and good at English or Chinese. They will clean your bed every day, and also had a 24hour lobby. You can also take a rest in a hot pool. Only the place take a 10mins walk to Shinbashi station, it is not a problem to me. I really recommend it, and I lived for one month. Guys can trust my review.

It was my first time to stay in a First Cabin branch and I was pleasantly surprised with all of the amenities and the level of comfort that I experienced during my stay - definitely a huge upgrade from the capsule hotel concept! Since then I always look for a First Cabin branch if I go to Japan.

Pleasant stay, reasonable price and good location ”
Several train stations are reachable within walking distance. Convenient stores are nearby too. I had quite a long stay at first cabin. It was a pleasant stay with complete facilities and amenities. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Simple food for breakfast, I personally love their pastries. I will book again if I am visiting Tokyo again.

I had a good stay overall. Breakfast was nice. They used to clean room on a daily basis. Staffs were cooperative and spoke English. They were very helpful. Nearest metro (subway) station is Onamiron. It's a 5-7 mins walk. Right next to the hotel, there was 7-11, so you can find stuffs easily.

Great value for solo travelers ”
First Cabin offers a good middle ground between "business hotel" and capsule. Due to a booking error, I was able to upgrade from a business class to first class capsule which has standing room next to the bed and space for luggage and hanging jackets. Enjoyed the men's spa/onsen facilities and other ameneties such as the vending machines and smoking room. Breakfast offerings could use more protein as it is mostly soup, salad and pastries. Also a lack of three prong outlets for charging laptops that have a ground on their socket.

Good for short term ”
Stayed for one night. I had booked a first class room, so there was place to put my luggage within my cabin. Overall the experience was good. Be aware you can hear others (really not sound proof), so if you’re a light sleeper it might not be the best option. Bed also has a firm mattress, so be aware of that (didn’t bother me, but it could for others). Facilities are very clean and the check in and out process was quick and efficient. Breakfast was nothing special, but I had it included in the reservation, otherwise not worth the 700 yen they charge if you buy it on the spot. Overall, I would say it’s alright for a short term stay (1-2 nights max), but long term I would definitely try finding something else. Nonetheless, it was very clean and the facilities are in excellent condition.

Not your run of the mill capsule hotel”
The facility was very nice, the cabins were very clean and everything was in good shape. Location is excellent, too. Travelers should know - shared toilets; showers on another floor, cabin doors are screens (though you are provided a locking drawer for valuables), and the beds are typical Japanese rock solid platforms. No luxurious softness in the mattresses, as is common in this part of the world. Four stars on value because if you can't sleep with the hard bed and other people snoring then it can't be an excellent value.

stayed here for 6 nights. Place was good, tidy and clean. Staff is very polite and friendly. The cell doesn't have storage place big luggage but can place it on the walkway, so far its very secure. If can make a rack in inside the cell it would be perfect since there is still space above head. As for the bathroom, maybe additional closed shower room will be good (only have one) since i am not used to the public open japanese style shower.

Clean and a good value. You'll need to walk almost 15 minutes to get to the nearest main stations but it's walking distance to Tokyo Tower, Ginza, and Chiyoda.

It was awkwardly far away from major subway stations. Close to the bus stop however. If you're planning to take the train from the airport, be prepared to lug your luggage 500-800m on the road. A bit hidden behind couple blocks of buildings from the main road

This is not your normal 'Capsule' hotel, the size of the cabin was more that to a small room and was a great price for the serviced offered. I found the laundry and shower area to be nice feature of the hotel and the staff are very friendly and gave me some great tips for local restaurants to try in the area. I would definitely recommend my friends to stay at this hotel.

Great facilities but not the best place to stay location-wise if you're a typical tourist ”
The good: The facilities and cleanliness of First Cabin were great-- there is a public bath with a host of lotions, toner etc for guests. Very clean too, I never once encountered a dirty toilet. Though I must add that there is only one private shower cubicle and one toilet for the entire ladies floor of approximately 15 or more cabins. It wasn't a problem for me as I was staying there during the non peak period on weekdays and a lot of the guests were locals who were perhaps accustomed to bathing communally so I never had to wait too long to use the private shower stall but it might be an issue during more crowded periods. Stayed in the first class cabin and was very happy with the spaciousness and comfort level of my cabin. Overall I have a really good impression of First Cabin facilities etc wise, but I wouldn't stay at the Atagoyama branch again due to its location. While it is about a short 4 min walk from the nearest subway station (Onarimon), this particular station is not very well connected to the main subway stations for accessibility to typical tourist spots like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku etc. (though onarimon Station is the closest station to Tokyo Tower). I spent a lot of time transiting from Onarimon Station to other subway stations to get to Shibuya etc so I wouldn't recommend this particular branch if you're a typical tourist. But definitely consider other First Cabin branches that are more well-connected and accessible.

Ok for 1 or 2 days.”
My biggest issue was how HOT it was inside these tiny rooms. Literally feels like sleeping in the sun. I really considered sleeping at the staircase or the reception where it was much much cooler. The cleanliness, staff and facilities was amazing. Every bathroom/toilet was super clean and white. It was a bit of a walk everyday to the Shimbashi train station. Thankfully, a lot of famous food is nearby like Ichiran, Gyukatsu Motomura & McDonalds.

As far as capsules go, it’s hard to beat FC. Larger than most capsules. Staff is very sharp and multilingual. The lounge is much bigger and better than almost any other FC. Vending machines right in the lounge. Only a few blocks to Shimbashi Station and Torranomon Hills. Also very close to Tokyo Tower, World Trade Center, 2 big parks, and lots of shops + restaurants. 2 blocks from a very big post office. Only downside is no luggage storage on floors, but the staff will store your luggage for a couple days in their office for free if you have it shipped. Overall, very good, as far as cabins + capsules go.
