Just perfect”
Had a few days here by myself and then my friend joined me. Had the perfect time here. Staff were exceptional (everyone from front of house to cleaning) and location perfect. Always felt safe wandering around the area by myself and close to everything. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough! Especially for the price compared to everything else around. I’ll be back next time I’m in Beirut!

Annoying, Daily, Reconstruction noise that lasted 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. added to lack of relaxation.”
Old hotel. Fairly clean, but lacking enough amenities in all rooms. For example my room had the inconvenience of lacking a microwave. The location was in the middle of heavy traffic and pollution. But the worst noise that did not allow enough sleep or relaxation came from some ruthless , daily reconstruction work that was 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. all week long. The staff and management were not apologetic about that and vehemently refused to offer the slightest compensation even for a future stay. Temporary parking was almost impossible due to the squeezed , one-way street. Abd that location was almost impossible ti be found by taxi drivers who responded to the misleading address by taking me each time to the wrong (though bigger) Golden Tulip (elsewhere in Hamra). One more fault was the sharp-edged night stand whose glass top almost punctured my right eye and caused a bruise on my forehead. Both chairs in room had grease stains. Electric switches were scarce . And no hanger in the bathroom.

I stayed here twice during my 2 weeks travelling around Lebanon this October. This is a very nice little hotel, right in the heart of the Hamra district. Decent hotels in Beirut aren't cheap, but this was good value. I had an excellent room on 8th floor, very spacious and clean, great bathroom and the bed was superb. Staff were very friendly, and one night I ordered some room service food which was surprisingly good. The hotel also has its own parking which is very convenient if you're crazy like me and drive in the city. Location is great, It's a noisy part of town, so would recommend a room as high as you can get, but location does mean there are plenty of good restaurants and bars close by....right in the middle of Hamra, you're spoiled for choice. Excellent hotel and definitely recommended.

Nice Hotel Bad Location”
OK but the location was so difficult to find if you are driving, and no one have heard of the hotel. It took me more than 3 hours to reach it. mountainous narrow roads and one way street and you keep in a loop and no landmarks
