Bref.. ça relevait limite de la caméra cachée. Pour la bagatelle j'aurais aimé compensation.

Unexpected luxury in Huahine”
Our trip to FP took us to four islands with Huahine being relatively less touristy than the others. We didn't expect to find the luxury that we found at the Maitai Lapita, and certainly not at the current rates. The bungalow on the river was absolutely huge. We've seen other reviews critical of the A/C in the room, but this was absolutely not the case. The A/C was robust and the room also had the biggest fan I've ever seen. Mosquitoes are an issue in the evening. We expected worse, but if you bring some bug spray and ask the restaurant to put out a mosquito coil when you're dining, you'll be perfectly fine. We would have been happy to spend our entire time in/around the room, but the pool area was welcoming as well. The snorkeling at their beach isn't really worth the effort if you've been to Moorea or BB. If I had to suggest one negative consideration it is that the hotel is making the pool area available to local families and parties if they order from the restaurant/bar. During these times, we understand why they're doing that since the number of hotel guests has been cut so sharply. However, it's a bit disconcerting to find that non-guests have taken over the pool in sizable numbers. During our 4 nights, there were 2 such groups and it was simple enough for us to change plans to avoid the noise (although one party went on for more than 6 hours). Be kind and understanding to the hotel (without these parties they may be forced to close), but be aware that you may encounter this.

Beautifully designed hotel right on the beach”
Bungalows are set amid a lake with water lilies and lush tropical landscaping. They are spacious with comfy bed and sitting area, good AC, beautiful modern bathroom, but still in keeping with unique canoe building design. Restaurant is excellent with views of the lagoon. Staff were friendly and helpful and set up a wonderful boat trip for snorkeling, pearl farm visit, and picnic. We highly recommend this hotel if you are staying on Huahine.

Superbe”
Loved the bungalows! So spacious and beautifully decorated. The beach at the property is small but very nice. None of the bungalow's have waterfront views, but the ones on the little lake are great. Food at the restaurant was tasty, and the town of Fare is close by so you can walk to the market and buy some fresh baguettes and cheese during the day. Would definitely recommend staying here if on Huahine!

Great Location”
Most conveniently located hotel on Huahine - just a short walk from the main town at Fare. Clean rooms and pleasant atmosphere, particularly in the lovely restaurant.

Super friendly staff”
Nice little hotel with super friendly staff! It is small and quiet, rooms are clean and in good conditions. Nice restaurant, small beach with some snorkeling possibilities. Close to the village for other eating/drinking options.

It was okay.”
There is a lady on reception who does not have a good grasp of English. She clearly told us we could leave our things in the room, before the 2pm check in, then as we went to do so, chased us and told us we couldn’t go in. Not happy. When we went back, 25mins early, she was again difficult and said no the room wasn’t ready yet……after 90mins?? I got cross and spoke too another receptionist, and guess what, we were let in. She obviously likes to stick to rules, which feels odd on such a lovely, laid back island. And she, being the first person you come across, influences how you feel about everything else.

Nice hotel with terrible breakfast.”
As far as the hotel rooms and location nothing to say just perfect. Only issue we had was the breakfast, we came late around 9 30 and they were closing the restaurant for breakfast, we asked and were told yes it late so i said i go outside and found something, but the staff insisted for us to stay and they will make something for us, at our surprise they brought us the left overs of fruits which didn't taste good some peices of bread and viennoiseries one plate for both and half full cup of water and just warm wasn't hot for tea i had to request a hot one. Coffee was terrible don't bother. And at the end we had to pay full price, why did u insist for us if you were going to give us leftover and pay for a full buffet if we were limited in choice and refills. We complained the next day at check out but nothing was taking seriously. I feel very disappointed for such behavior even though i appreciate the fact they tried to help, but if u gonna help do it right or don't do it since you incised. Next morning we went for a fresh crepes and much better.

Very appealing, atmospheric villas in a lush tropical setting”
Villas are inspired by traditional Tahitian architecture. Our room was large and comfortable, and had an enticing patio overlooking the small lake. Garden rooms may not be quite so alluring. Lovely pool with an adjoining white sand beach. The hotel is a short walk from the small town. Good buffet breakfast. Dinner was good but not exceptional. There are few upscale accommodations on Huahine, so this hotel is an obvious choice if you want something above the pension. But even with more competition, the hotel would fare well. I'd be happy to return.

Agréable”
The room and the facilities are really nice, but the Restaurant and its service not. The wine comes 5minutes after the main dish for example and not only one time... the hotel personal doesn‘t support you well for booking excursions

Good, But not as good as other options”
this is a fine hotel for what you pay for it, 2nd best on Huahine. Can not beat location, great patios, great staff, really almost perfect. But if you have flown hours to French Polynesia, to experience exclusion, snorkeling , you want to feel like you are away from it all.. this is not hotel for you. This hotel feels like it could be anywhere. Okay, I am from Florida, maybe not if you are from Michigan or Norway. This is a great hotel.
