petit hôtel sympa situé dans un quartier dynamique proche des transports en commun;le personnel a accepté de garder nos valises ( gratuitement) pendant une excursion de deux jours .Le nettoyage des chambres est effectué chaque jour,le linge de toilette est renouvelé quotidiennement. La taille des chambres est correcte.Nous avons apprécié des petits cadeaux de bienvenue.

Good cheap place to visit tokyo”

Je suis resté 4 nuits dans cet hôtel. Il n'a pas une position centrale dans Tokyo mais il est à 1min d'une station de metro JR + Tokyo metro, donc on peut rayonner partout sans problème. Le quartier est par ailleurs calme mais comporte izakaya et bars à foison, plutôt proche d'Akihabara (20min à pied). L'hotel est propre, le staff extrêmement sympathique et serviable (il offre notamment des cartes des différents quartiers). La chambre est petite de même que la salle de bain mais confortable. Le wifi est de bonne qualité. A refaire, notamment grâce au staff très accueillant.

Petit hôtel effectivement bien sympathique comme le disent de nombreux autre commentaire. A noter des points négatif quand même. la plupart des chambres donnent sur un mur à 50cm sauf celle finissant par 3 apparemment car j avais la chambre 403 que j avais repère lors du nettoyage du matin ;).Puis la chambre 503. Pas de wifi dans les chambres mais dans la réception ok. Les portes qui claquent assez désagréable, réveille en sursaut.. C est pour cette raison que j ai choisi un autre hôtel pour ma dernière nuit avant mon départ pour Paris. Sinon pour le reste, tout à été dit, service, gentillesse, proche des transports etc.. A noter la présence des plus lourd oreillé que j ai jamais vu, très agréable cependant, il doit avec du riz ou je ne sais quoi à l intérieur. J y retournerais sans hésiter à ma prochaine visite à Tokyo ,

Hôtel bien situé: proche du métro et du train. Accueil très bon (personnel parlant anglais). La chambre était propre. La salle de bain était un peu petite et parfois avec une légère odeur de canalisation (rien de grave). Il y a un service de garde des bagages à l'arrivée ou au départ, et deux ordinateurs connectés à l'entrée de l'hôtel.

Staff was very warm, accomodating, and very friendly. Will come back when we visit Tokyo again. Akihabara is near esp for those who are used to walking. Plenty of places to eat in. Convenience stores are near Yanagibashi. Train station is near as well. Thank you for giving as umbrellas as it was raining hard when we checked out. It was a very nice gesture. Thanks again

Still my fave Tokyo hotel!”

It's my 4th time staying here, since 2015, and it still my favorite hotel while I'm staying at Tokyo for Anime Japan event. Close to Asakusabashi St. (A16), has a direct train on Asakusa/Keisei/Keikyu Line both to Narita or Haneda. Cleans room everyday from 10am. Refill all amenities generously, towel and yukata included. Friendly and helpful staffs, some with fluent English and some with translator devices. And on top of those, they can help to store luggage at the hotel for several days, as long as you come back to stay here again after that. Overall, my stay here this period are superb, would like to stay here again next year for Anime Japan 2020.

Here again for the 4th time, and still love it very much. LOCATION combined for its price per night are the premium above other hotels around Asakusabashi. I’ll stay here again next year for Anime Japan 2020

Tiny and basic”

Really tiny rooms and bathroom but that was expected. Looks old and nothing is here apart from the room. If you cannot cannot find anything in Tokyo then book this . Although It’s right next to Asakushabashi station but still won’t stay again here .

Location is great. Steps away from a subway entrance/exit and Asakusabashi Station is so convenient to most of the major places you want to see: Asakusa, Ueno, Akihabara, Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc. Lots of restaurants, itzakayas in the area. Even the fish-shaped pancake delicacy, there's a place right at the corner to the hotel. It's a small hotel that looks like it's from the 60s but that's the charm of it. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I stayed here for almost a month and enjoyed it very much. This is a shoutout to Ki: Crocodile!

Affordable”

The hotel is small which is good for backpackers, couples, small groups (which is 3-4pax). The room is small and can fit up to 4 people. The bathroom is small, too. The automatic bidet is not functioning in our room. They will clean your room even if you dont put the "please make up room sign", until you put the "do not disturb sign", if you dont want them in. The room is clean. The place is quiet. There is Lawson (convenience store) near the hotel. If you want 7-11, you can go across the highway and you will find it there ( use your map 😊). They also have laundry on the first floor, with free detergent powder. ¥200 per wash load; ¥100 per dryer load. Coin-operated machine. Overall, the stay was good. 👍🏻 we'll come back again 😊

Great Stay at Hotel Yanagibashi”

The hotel is in a very convenient location, just around 3minute walk from Asakushibashi subway station. There is also a Keisei Line which goes directly to Narita Airport. There are also accessible convenience store (Lawson and Family Mart) near the hotel. The staff are very friendly upon arrival they informed us where we can have breakfast and where best to see Sakura. They also allow us to check-in early since there are no guests prior to our arrival. They are also very responsive to our inquiries before our flight. The room maybe small but they clean it everyday and provided the basic toiletries such as towels, robe, hairdryer etc. We can also use flat iron for free. The wifi is also strong. For improvement, I will recommend to have a complimentary bottled water. Over-all it was such a great stay. If we will be back in Tokyo, we'll definitely book here again.

Excellent stay”

Very conveniently located 2mins from Asakusabashi Station. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores close by. A short train ride to the Skytree, and about 10mins walk around to the Edo Tokyo museum, and Sumo museum.

This hotel location is excellent. Closed with subway station walking time about 3 minutes, closed with convinient store and some of restaurant. Hotel staff very friendly and familirize. Very recommended hotel.

My go to hotel in Tokyo”

I have made this hotel my goto in Tokyo. It is close to Asakusaibasi station and metro, decent price, mom and pop type business. When no frills are needed I would strongly recommend. It is a quick train hop to Akihabara which is great if trying to find someplace close to there. But Aki station is a great jumping off point for a number of other lines around Tokyo.

Frugal Canadian in Tokyo”

I was looking for something reasonable with your own washroom and bed that was not a pod. This place was it! The room was small, but for the price and location, I considered myself lucky. The night man at the desk had a great command of English as he had studied in Vancouver, and gave me decent advice on locations to check out while I had a day to spare to explore. The hotel is not new, it' not the Taj. But heck, for less than a bill a night, it's awesome! And the twin bed, it was firm, but an extra long one. I was not expecting that! At 6'2" I had plenty of "leg" room. Will I be going back? Yes! I booked my last night in Japan at Yanagibasi so I could get to the airport on time. That's three weeks away, but I am glad I did. Will not change my booking :-)

3rd time and still awesome”

My 3rd time in a row staying here from 2015-2017 all in an almost the same dates, and will always to choose here due to its closeness to Asakausabashi Station (A16 Asakusa line and JB20 Chuo/Sobu line) that serving direct subway to both Narita and Haneda. Got room 305 with standard amenities (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, bath towel, face towel, yukata, hairdryer) and fridge, the most important. Front desk men are changing every 2 days, most of them understand English but some are not. But both were so friendly and even asking me where I've been when I went to Osaka for 2 days, saying they're worried that I hadn't came 'home' 😍 That the best experience I had in all time I stay at hotels...thank you for the personal attention 😍 Perfect place for backpackers, not so comfy for those who bring huge luggages since the room size is commonly small 😂 Love this hotel more and more every year.
