Local Feel in the Heart of Tokyo”
In my experience, most hotels in Japan are clean, comfortable and modern, albeit on the small size. Staff are also always professional, friendly and helpful. The Bellclassic has all this. What I like more about this hotel is that whilst it is in the heart of Tokyo (Otsuka JR Station), the area feels very "local" and "authentiic" with respect to a true Japanese experience. A few stops from the more touristry areas of Shibuya, Shinjuku and Harijuku, the Bellclassic sits in an area full of local bars, restaurants and shops that offer an experience that seems more genuine.

I love the service and the room! Very close to Otsuka station, it is the perfect hotel for a solo traveller because everything is accessible. There is a Lawson also in front of the hotel if ever you want to buy food. Will stay again.

A bit of an older hotel, it is right next to the Otsuka station and boasts a grand entry and lobby (for a Japanese hotel). The staff were efficient and polite. I got a twin bed room which was large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped and had a separate bath shower. Plenty to do around the hotel with many restaurants, bars and shops. Good overall central location. I would stay here again.

Good location, just one station away from busy Ikebukuro. Room is small but kept clean. Staff broke the zip handle on my bag and was super apologetic about it and even offered to buy me a new one. Very outstanding service. Will stay again when I'm in tokyo.

Quiet, Clean and next to JR Otsuka”
In the middle of everything , 30-40minutes away to JR Tourist destinations. 15minutes to Ueno Park and Rikugien Park. Just incredibly quite neighborhood, not as busy as Shinjuku or Shubuya but very accessible. Plus There's Lawson in front Starbucks 100meters away and a lot of good restaurants around it, minus the crowd. And the staffs are nice. There's an in house restaurant too that is way cheaper than the restaurants I've dined at. Good value for moneu, it may just be me but the servings are Western size.

About 300m from the JR Yamanote line Otsuka Station. Clean and comfortable. The staff are professional and helpful. Multilingual service at the front desk. Many food shops and amenities in the surrounding area. Will surely recommend friends to stay.

it was my 2nd stay this time, and i think i'll have my 3rd stay at Bellclassic next year when i'll be visiting tokyo again. The hotel is lovely and staff are nice; compared to other 3-star or 4-star rated hotels, the price and quality are also very reasonable. Neighborhood around the hotel is peaceful and quiet, and there is a convenience store right across the hotel. Supermarket is also nearby, and a good ramen place too :) The hotel is somewhat distant from Ikebukuro (about 15 min walk) but if you take subway it's only 1 stop away (Otsuka station is just about 1 minute walk).

Fantastic service by the front desk. But hotel room is not very good in term of noise isolating. You can hear the noise from the room next door, which is why I feel bad if I turn on the tv in the night.

Pros: - 1min walk from JR Otsuka station - easy access to nearby shopping mall and eateries - accessible to popular areas via JR Yamanote line: Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Akihabara, Ueno - less than 1h to Haneda: JR Yamanote line to Shinagawa, then transfer to the Keikyu Airport Line for Haneda) - warm and friendly staff at reception - spotlessly clean room - wide range of toiletries (e.g. face wash, face lotion) - bottled water in refrigerator
