Excellent hotel in Machu Picchu Pueblo (aka Aguas Caliente)”
We researched many hotels in Aguas Caliente (aka Machu Picchu Pueblo) for our long-awaited visit to Machu Picchu. Based on the Agoda listing and reviews, we selected Inti Punku Hotel and glad we did! The hotel is perfectly located with easy access to the train station and bus stop for the trip up the mountain to Machu Picchu. Our room was a nice size, spotlessly clean, with a nice bathroom and very comfortable bed. There are countless restaurant and shopping options nearby. A huge benefit to this hotel is the friendly and accommodating staff! We opted for the earliest arrival time at Machu Picchu to see sunrise, so we needed to take the 5:30am bus. The hotel accommodated our wish to have an early breakfast at 4:30am so we could go the the bus stop at 5am. Also, the hotel securely stored our luggage while we visited Machu Picchu, then we claimed our luggage and went to the nearby train station for an afternoon train to Cusco. I highly recommend Inti Punku Hotel and will stay there again. We loved Machu Picchu so much we want to return someday.

Stay here. As I have traveled across the globe, this is one of the rare finds. Best part is the friendly yet professional staff. Especially Melanie and Wallter. Secondly, availability of full force and clean hot water anytime. You need to wait a bit after running hot water, but when it comes, you're in heaven. Thirdly, clean and pressed sheets and bedding. It's hard to find this quality in a budget hotel. Fourthly, full buffet breakfast. Wonderful eggs and a vegetarian option. Fruits and avocados. Freshly squeezed juice. Selection of fine teas and a strong coffee. The location is right next to the train station. You need to walk around the end of station but it's really handy after a long day of traveling. My room was facing the station but when I had my windows closed, I didn't even noticed the station sounds. Hope you can find a room!

We loved our one night stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived through checkout. The room (a suite) was gorgeous and had a great balcony. The location was a couple minutes from the train and bus stops. The hotel was also a couple minutes from some great restaurants (like full house). The room was quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend! Also I am forgetting his name but the evening person who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. Thanks so much!

Perfect Hotel”
This hotel was amazing. Considering the other options, this made the most sense. We got the suite with the balcony, shower and bathtub. Definitely worth it. Warning, the town water is yellow, so expect that in the bathtub (staff said it was not a problem). Quick walk to everything.

2 nights at Inti Punku”
We stayed in February 2022 and booked the hotel based on very reviews. We were not disappointed - excellent staff, great location and very nice breakfast. Would recommend staying here as excellent value for money.

Nice hotel, staff was helpful when deciding where to go eat. The room was nice, breakfast buffet was average (coffee, toast, fruits, eggs, etc.) the air conditioner in the room didn’t work though (that was the only inconvenience).

We stayed here at the end of December and the staff went out of their way to make sure that we were well taken care of. Even with the low occupancy they did go above and beyond, would definitely stay again.

Great hotel close to the train station”
This was a really nice place to launch an early morning visit to Machupicchu. We spent two nights in a senior suite with an unobstructed view of the mountains. The staff is warm and helpful, breakfast was tasty and complete, and the location just across the street from the “tourist” train station is ideal. We definitely would recommend it!

Only one minute walk to the train station. The room is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly. Try to have breakfast early because they do not fill up food when it almost runs out.

Elevator is not working”
The hotel’s location is ok, near the bus and train stations and near the reataurants and markets. The hotel is clean and they served breakfast really early which is good because we took tje 5am bus to Machi Picchu. They wven allowed us to leave our luggage and use the toilet afterwards. The downside is, when we arrived at 9PM very tired, they gave us a room on the 7th floor and the elevator is not working. Can you imagine that you are sleepy, tired and made to climb the stairs? Very unreasonable.

Well located, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. Room was exceptionally warm though the weather was mild as the in room unit has no place to exhaust so it generates more warm air than cold. Only down side. Otherwise an exceptional value ! Would definitely recommend!

Very clean and nice rooms - bathrooms are basic for USA standards. Friendly staff and good free breakfast. Can be a bit loud at night from others guests… overall a great stay and incredible value.

Lovely stay before Machu Picchu! ”
Very early morning breakfast which was clutch. Pleasant staff. Held our stuff for us until we got back from our hike. Shower head was the rain shower head which was Awesome and towels were fluffy.
