Location away from hectic districts which is perfect after a very busy day of people noise flashing lights at night.. very clean great size apartment for 4 people . Close to Ueno Station which has JR line and Keisei Skyliner line plus subway to all other districts

We have different type rooms for guests, the max can contain in 8 people. There's kitchen in the room so that you can cook yourself in the room just like you are still in your home. There are lots of restaurant and convenient store around here, even have a super market. Thank you again for giving us such great message, we are really appreciate it. Spacious room in Tokyo ”
We have 3 girls stay in the room. The room is spacious in Tokyo. We can open all our luggage at the same time. The hotel staff are very nice. Location is good, around 5-10 mins walk to subway station. The only negative point is the sofa bed need to do it by yourself, I think they should do it for the guest. If you are travel in group or family, here is the best choice!

First time in Tokyo”
Hotel is perfect for a family of four - 4 comfy beds, kitchenette complete with all the accessories you would need to prepare light meals. Room is spotless and sanitary. The tub in the shower is amazing ang perfect for a soak after a tiring day of exploring the city! The staff has been very helpful from booking and assisting in early check in! Special mention to Bella at the front desk. Location is close to all restaurants, convenience stores and a 24hr grocery store. Very close to Ueno JR, Tokyo Metro and Skyliner and Ameyoko shopiing and eating destination! If you want a location that is quiet and away from the crowd this is the perfect location. Our stay in Mimaru will be remembered and we will definitely come back when we visit Tokyo again.

We wish you had asked us regarding the supermarket. It is located within 4-5 minutes of walking. We also have all sorts of area maps, restaurant and shop recommendations on the first floor right in front of the front desk. It is pleasing to know you made a good use of the kitchen. Sometimes you just want to take your time and enjoy your meal in your room with no outer disturbance. We also can provide early check-in service when we have proper room for the guest, but it will charge 5000 Japanese Yen. For my past trips to Japan I only considered Airbnb as my family needs to stay in an apartment with a mini kitchen. The only issue was most apartments were quite dated while hotels were quite expensive. Thank god Mimaru apartment style hotel was launched last year. Love the location, concept and the amenities in the same building like free wifi, coin laundrette, vending machine etc. The lifts and bathroom are big considering its Japan. Staff were courteous and friendly too. Will stay here again in the future.

Hotel is about 5-8 minutes walk from Ueno station. The area is quiet but convenient, and the room is spacious with kitchen equipment that is super handy if you travel with young children. They only clean your rubbish and change towels for you every day, and will only make you bed on the fourth day of your stay. For us is good. Check out and check in is also easy. Will definitely choose it again if I m back in Tokyo with family!

The hotel is exactly what you see in the photos! Very impressive. Quite a distance to walk from Ueno station but the comfortable feeling you get when you are in the hotel room is priceless. I appreciate the small kitchen for me to cook simple meals like instant noodles. The handphone that they provided was definitely a plus point! Well done, Mimaru!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mimaru Tokyo Ueno East! The hotel is a short walk from both Ueno station (JR line) and Inaricho station (Ginza line). Our room was very spacious and well-equipped, with a large dining table, comfy sofa-chairs, induction stove, full size fridge and microwave. We also rented the steam toaster oven, and it is an amazing little device that was great for reheating food and can transform any old piece of bread into freshly baked bread! Finally, the staff communicate well in English and are super friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Tokyo.

Wonderful service and cleanliness ”
The room is much more spacious than average hotel rooms in Tokyo. The facilities such as humidifier and the well-equipped kitchen are great. They also offer free rental service for items such as rice cooker and toys, which is super convenient and hospitable. Location is great too given its proximity to Ueno station.

3 min walk from station. Have 3 supermarkets nearby . Many eateries and shopping nearby. Ichiran ramen is only about 10 min away. Highly recommended especially if you are travelling as family. Room is spacious.

We went to Tokyo to celebrate our mother’s 67th birthday. Our sister from the US, met us halfway for the celebration. All my family members are very happy with our stay in the hotel since it is very accessible to all. Kudos to the front desk receptionist for their Japanese hospitality at its best. Overall, this is the very great place to stay for a group, they got all the necessary facilitates and also cooking equipments . Only a small flaw about dust in air-conditioner.

Being an apartment hotel, we try to create more private space for our guests and do only basic cleaning. Which includes everyday cleaning system with emptying trash cans, replacing towels and replenishing toilet papers. For the guests who stay for 4 or more nights there is a bed making and vacuum cleaning every 3 days (4th, 7th, 10th nights). We will consider your advice for the best of our guests in the future.
