Great Value for Money”
From check-in to check-out, we had no problems whatsoever. It’s quite a walk from the nearest train station but if you don’t have small children or older adults, it’s more than fine. The place is a great value for your money. It’s spacious, it has all the amenities even a laundry machine! From the station, there’s a mcdonalds, lawsons, 7-Eleven, and Family Mart. a kot of good restos around the area. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. There’s a supermarket across the street which is great if you want fresh fruits and you want to make use of the kitchen facilities in your room. Highly recommend for families or groups.

Awesome stay”
We are group of 8, including 2 childrens (4yo). Stay for 3 nights, spacious living room, bathroom (there's washing machine, but not dry), separated toilet, and big window with very fresh air. Even the place located a side the road, but quite enough, lots of restaurant nearby, care, bread shop, 7eleven, watson. Small inconvenience is distance from nearest station, about 11 minutes walk everytime, but we still can enjoy for 3 days (no more than that). Overall, great place to stay with whole family!

Spacious room with self check in. ”
The room is very spacious with elevator. The kitchenette equipped with microwave, oven, kettle, etc complete. Clean room with great bath tub. For those who use train, please exit using north exit for closer route, but note that there is only stairs at the train station, disadvantages for those who have have heavy luggage. Self check in, we met no one, just key in with your booking number or full name.

A few problems while staying here”
I suggest the owner to give detailed directions to the residence (e.g. EXIT at the NORTH EXIT from UGUISUDANI station and walk straight all the way). We exited wrongly, taking the long way. Also, there was no receptionist the whole time we were there. We had to write down our requests on paper at the lobby. It's better if you have a phone number as the staff are quite responsive and speak English when you call them. I had messaged them 2 mths ago about leaving my luggage at the residence and I expected someone to be there to help, but we ended up leaving the luggages without anyone looking after it until we came back at 4pm. Also, it's a self-check in residence - only available at 4pm, you need to key in your reservation no. into the ipad and the machine generates a password for your room. Once we entered the residence however, we were very pleased because my mum really enjoys the spacious room. We also found a delicious and cheap izakaya nearby. 10mins walk to JR line. Good exp.

Adequately sized accommodation in Tokyo”
pros: can accommodate 5 persons comfortably | has dining area and good kitchen with basic amenities - i.e. cooking pan & pots, glasses, plates, bowls, utensils, fridge, microwave oven | close by uguisudani station which makes traveling around very convenient cons: there is nobody at the reception when we arrived so instead of wasting our time waiting for someone to come, we left our luggages at the lobby unattended. good thing they're still there when we get back in time for check-in at 4pm.

Good Stay ”
This accommodation is great for a small group traveler. during our stay we are 4 adults. Walking distance from JR uguisudani. The facilities was good and there is convenient walking distance kombini near the accommodation. The property provide modern and traditional Japanese experience for the bed arrangement. :)

Good location with a full kitchen and dining equipment. the hotel wasn't far from Uguisudani Sta. North exit, many restaurants around the hotel and has a supermarket opposite the hotel. At room have poor cleaning which has much dust on the floor and some dirty on the bedsheet.

First time in Tokyo”
This is our first time in Tokyo. So we do not have any comparison to be made with similar stay. However, our stay in this place is not too bad. It was not great but also not that bad. It has all the basic needs. I guess travelling with 2 grown up and 2 young Children made the space a bit cramp. But then this is in Ueno. As for the location, the place is a bit further to the train station uguisudani about 600 m. But there is a big grocery store just in front of the place. Overall, this place is as what was said in the review.

Do not meeting our initial expectations”
We recommend owner to have better maintain on the facilities like air-con, kitchen cleanness especially the air filter and etc. No dryer for clothes which is not convenience for us especially with children.

direction was incorrect and the stafff phone number was out of service”
I could have gone more negative, but just mention the check-in. We were told that we would have received the room number and other, such as secret code (as my last four digits of my phone #) to allow us to check in. As we didn't received it, I called several times to the listed contacted number (using an international service) and got no answer. Finally, I asked my Japanese friend to call and he confirmed with me that the number is not in service. When we finally arrived, none of the information regarding check-in we got earlier is happening. We went through a totally different process on a iPad in the lobby. And, we managed checking into the room. Then, it was the quality of the facility. Just one advice, be very careful, when you open any cabinet.

Big Letdown”
Arrived during winter with a cold environment. No instructions in English for the remote control and gotta experiment quite awhile to get one heater up in one of the room. The other room after 4 days the heater still not working and can see if never been serviced with thick layer of dust. My first impression is a decent place but to my disappointment no service , despite I wrote a note to the desk reception which I didn't see a single sole in entire 4 nights stay. The whole apartment is cold and not as what in the pictures. I felt I owed my family a huge apologize as this place has ruined their vacation after a good start at Osaka

Staffless hotel but it’s fine”
It’s self checkin checkout , may be a bit confuse but very privacy. Supermarket near hotel close at 24:00 very nice. 600 m. from station , if customer have questions,we can ask them via email

Run down and dated furniture inside. ”
Photos are for illustration purpose only. Everything is dated and some are run down (kitchen cabinet, light, toilet, window, dining chairs, wardrobe) The check in instruction was not cleared too. You need to go to the tiny office next to the elevator to do it yourself via tablet. The name of the hotel (apartment) said "Grand" but the actual condition of the interior is totally NOT GRAND at all. Main entrance glass door was taped with used carton box (suspect broken glass), and the light casing cracked, and dining chairs are all mixed and matched. Location to the train station is 800m away.

Average room but poor location and sevices”
Visited on Feb 2023, the place is 1.2 km from nearest metro station, and 700m from nearest JR. What’s worse is the the nearest JR, Uguisudani Station, is the small station which is constantly skipped during rush hours, and no elevators in the station. The room is okay, despite stuffs are getting old and yellow. Bed and TV are some of the good ones. Never see the staffs’s in flesh. Check-in and out was with the tablet. Problems came when you need to deposit the luggage prior or after your stay for a day trip, which would be impossible and you’ll have to pay extras for lockers at the station. Not too expensive for the value but there should be better ones. Will consider a lot coming back here.

Great for family ”
Just 6 minutes from Uguisudani station, supermarket is just across the street. Quiet neighborhood. Check in and check out is super easy. Overall, a great place to stay for family.

Moldy Bathroom”
Bathroom smelled so badly of mold that I had to buy bleach and clean under the tub before I could use it, and I’m really not a picky person. Bathroom vent fan is very loud and doesn’t seem to work well, so the bathroom never dries out. Heaters are only in the bedrooms, so the kitchen/dining area is uncomfortably chilly.

I would not recommend this apartment”
We stayed in apartment 302 and was not clean. There were dust and cobwebs every where and the kitchen was super oily and smelly. Everything is old and somewhat broken and condition was bad. The heater in one of the rooms was noisy while the other heater in the other room was not working at all. Considering that we paid about 300 yen per night, I would strongly advice not to book this apartment.
