Very special place”
As I write this, I am watching the sun set behind majestic Mt. Kazbek. It is unobscured by clouds, a sight to behold from the highest point in town. . What a fantastic place this has been to spend the last few days. Total luxury. From a solid night’s sleep in a comfy bed, warm as toast, feeling welcomed and cared for by the staff, to fantastic breakfast and soothing time in the sauna and pool. I have hiked like crazy in the area and this has been the perfect spot to slow down and relax, enjoy delicious, bountiful food, surrounded by nature and friendly faces. Reading past mixed reviews, I can only assume that the management has made changes in lighting and bathrooms. Families, young couples, and groups of older travelers seem very happy. I read with plenty of light at night and slept and bathed so well! Ear plugs are a super easy fix to any noise from beyond your room at night. This is a place to which I will definitely return. Thank you to the entire staff and management.

When traveling in Georgia you will find you often have to bed your waiter for a menu or to be served or to get your order correct even. I have been in Georgia about 3 weeks and this is a pretty consistent assessment. Hotel Kazbegi is fantastic. A welcome reprieve and truly a resort. Great hikes near the hotel. Be prepared for sudden bad weather but it's worth it for the gorgeous days and the open sky views of Mt Kazbegi.

Rooms Kazbegi has redecorated an old soviet officers building. Fabulous decor, amazing food, incredible staff and an absolutely sublime location. Book a room with a balcony with Mt. Kazbegi view; you can't go wrong!

The hotel has a panoramic deck with the best views in the town. Also, the rustic and warm wooden decor is very comforting. The hotel has a brilliant indoor heated pool and outdoor hot tub that overlooks the mountains.

One thing to note. The cheaper price for rooms quoted here is because they don't face the valley. I didn't need to look out over the valley. But it's worth understanding. I got mine here rather than with the group because of the price difference.

Location is fantabulous with great views on both sides of the hotel, washrooms could have been made a bit bigger. The breakfast and in room service is great. Staffs were very friendly, suggested great options for sightseeing.

Stunning view”
I booked this hotel for the view, but the way getting there was not easy at all. When I went there I was stuck on the way for 4 hours from Tbilisi to Kazbegi, because of the warm weather it’s not safe for the roads among snow mountains, for going back the way was blocked again but the staff told me I can take the cable car to avoid that specific blocked area. So make sure you did research before you are going to Kazbegi. The staff are nice, the view of course, amazing! Very high quality breakfast, I really enjoyed my stay.

Views, the vibe, the interior, the food - we will always choose Rooms Kazbegi as our home in Kazbegi. The hotel’s view is topnotch, the food is always something we always look forward to, the vibe is something else, the pool, sauna and hot tub are great especially during winter. We stayed three times over the years and we can’t get enough of Rooms.

I recognized the hotel is operated by very little man power. The hotel was spacious and comfortable, but we had to wait 30 minutes for the staff at the restaurant.

Great hotel with good facilities. Sauna, small basic gym, indoor pool, pool table. Good food, Helpful staff. Well worth a visit. Not much to do around town but the hotel makes up for it

while any hotel in kazbegi would give you similar view, but if your budget allows, this is probably the only proper large hotel in town. Breakfast was just excellent. Unfortunately on our dates, the swimming pool was under renovation so we ended up at the pool table instead.
