Très propre, style industriel, tout ce qu il faut pour passer une nuit lors d un Road Trip. Cuisine un peu petite pour le nombre de personnes accueillies.

Best Hostel I've stayed in!”
This is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. We opted for a double room so can't speak on the dorms, but the room had everything you need for a short stay, bed was comfortable, bathrooms and showers were very clean and staff were friendly. I would absolutely stay here again.

The Barn was so lovely to stay in. It’s so so clean and there’s plenty of shower, toilet, kitchen facilities. Lovely area to sit and chill. Very easy to find as it is just a short drive off the main road. The staff were all so lovely and helpful during our stay. Would highly recommend!

This beautiful hostel was so clean and modern - you did not feel like you were staying in a hostel! I love that they have double bunks - nice for couples.. although I was travelling with my friend it was still a nice and cheap option!!

Absolutely phenomenal location, great staff and amenities. We (group of 3) were greeted by the resident dog when we arrived which we all loved! Super close to Reynisfjara beach and the other surrounding attractions. We highly recommend staying here!

Place is great but if you have a lot of teenagers stay they just make a mess of the common areas and don't clean up after themselves. This was my only negative.

It was very stylish place. I booked a family room. There were 2 double bank beds. The beds are big, 2 people can sleep easily. We used only 2 beds instead of 4. We didn’t have any space expect beds. The beds had curtain India’s

The '6 bed dormitory' actually has 12 people, expect no sleep”
I booked the 6 bed dormitory. It is not mentioned that these are double bunk beds, nor do they put up pictures of these. This is extremely misleading, since we were expecting to be in a room with 6 people. 12 people in a tiny dorm makes the room extremely hot and smelly. People come in at late hours and leave super early, so we got zero sleep. We were next to the door which didn't close very well. There were not enough hangers or space for everyone's luggage, towels and clothes, we left some of ours in the car and lockers. The bathrooms were reasonably clean. The kitchen is extremely dark, and the exhaust fans don't work. Avoid this and pay a little extra to get a private room at an other place.

Hostel vibe but comfortable”
Hostels often get a bad rep with the impression that they are noisy, uncomfortable and overall a cheap option. The Barn though definitely a hostel felt like an upscale version of it. The common areas were clean, the bathrooms (shared) were well maintained and the double room where we stayed was decently roomy and had a very comfortable bed. That said, it was right next to the stairs and the door on the second floor so it was rather noisy and I had to use a white noise app to drown out the sounds from outside. Otherwise the experience was good for one night.

Very clean and modern looking hostel. Staff cleaned up the place really thoroughly, from the rooms to the toilets and kitchen. The kitchen was also very well equipped, had fridges, stoves, ovens, microwaves, kettles, coffee machines and cutleries for eating. Love the space and would highly recommend.

Booked a double bed. Pros: Nice amenities big kitchen nicely heated areas. Have a bar. Multiple toilets for both males and females, separate shower rooms and sinks. Hair dryer Cons: will be good if provides instructions on how to use induction stove , kitchen can get crowded during peak periods, limiting cooking sessions
