Great hotel”
I love everything. I dont mind about no breakfeast because we cook our own brekfeast. The kitchen and washing machine with dryer really convenient for us as family traveller. Coffee machine at the lobby is so nice. Location is excellent. Only 3 mins walking to JR station and 5 mins walking to nearest metro station and center of shibuya. Room is very limited space but cabinet provided helps to organize clothes during stay. Definitely I'll stay here again when I come back again in Shibuya

Bigger room than average. Easy to connect to/from Shibuya station (from station, use new South Exit). Very close to Family Mart. So convenience. Hotel staffs are so kind.

Excellent quiet location ”
The hotel is a great value in a quiet central location. It's three minutes from the Shibuya New South Gate Exit, which takes you to the Narita Express Train. There is a FamilyMart next to the hotel and a Lawson two minutes away. I could barely hear the trains at Shibuya Station and I'm a light sleeper. The kettle, mini fridge and washing machine were convenient. I appreciated the complimentary clothes detergent and tea. Be aware that families stay here--I heard a baby crying at 1 AM. The only thing I didn't like was the slightly hard and lumpy mattress. I spent a month sleeping on futons and foam mattresses in Japan so the hotel's standard metal coil mattress did not feel comfortable. I would stay here again for one night before or after using Narita Airport.

Room is decent size compared to other hotels. Walking distance to Shibuya New South exit. Family mart is just beside the hotel. Mcdonald’s and Lawson is within 2mins walk. BUT it would be better if they can provide complimentary drinking water in the room. If you get thirsty, the only option you have is the vendo machine in the lobby.

Summary based on two separate, multi-day stays: --convenient to Shibuya station New South exit, but a long walk to Yamanote line. NEX convenient. --secure, quiet, decent sized with work area, kitchenette, washer/dryer, closet space. Good lighting and ok electrical receptacles. --good temperature control, including air con --Friendly, English speaking staff --adjacent to 24 hour restaurant with ok Western or Japanese breakfast. Many restaurants and several convenience stores close by. --grocery store 450m walk away --drinks vending in the lobby, including beer --in room safe Recommended in this area, especially if you want a washer/dryer.

Overall, I liked this hotel. It’s super close to the Saiko and Nex lines, but any other train or going to the crossing is a bit of hike. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I also loved having the washer/dryer in the room, very convenient! The rooms are a bit dated, but larger than other Shibuya hotels in this price range. Also, if you are there over 7 days, they only clean the room and replace the towels once. I’m ok with the room cleaning, but would like fresh towels at least every other day.

The way to the heart of Shibuya is far due to many reconstruction are undergoing. Only coffee machine at lobby. No in room, and no dip coffee pack in lobby(I found 2pack in the first two days, but then I need to take a cup of hot coffee go to my room) The room is big enough. Good.

Perfect location”
If you take Narita Express Train from the airport, alight at Shibuya station and use 'New South Exit' which is short walking distance from the hotel. Don't take other exits coz they are quite far from hotel. Lift access is available from station exit to the main road via JR Mets Hotel lift lobby. When I ask for the nearby supermarket, the kind receptionist lady showed me the direction with the map. It's called Life supermarket and we shopped there everyday. The room has induction cooker, microwave oven and washing machine with dryer which are very useful for the family with infant like us. Lawson and Family mart is nearby hotel as well. Remind that hotel will only change the towels and throw the rubbish bag if you're short stays. Overall we enjoyed the stay there.

5 minutes walk from the JR lines, very convenient as there’s a family mart right below the hotel. The room is big enough for 2 and it’s very convenient as washing machine is available in the room. The staff are very friendly and there are maps available in the lobby! Good stay but a little pricey! =)

Nice hotel. Rooms have everything you need. Great location to the JR line, like three mins walk so easy to catch the Narita Express. The main Shibuya intersection is about ten mins walk. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. I would recommend this Hotel and definitely stay here again.

This is my 3rd stay in Tokyu Stay Shinminamiguchi. Service provided is consistent from time to time. Some details (minimal) in room interior need to be upgraded as they get old during time. Strategic location - walking distance from New South Exit of JR Shibuya station, easy access to convenient stores and restaurants.

This hotel exceeded our expectiations, the room was decent sized, had in room laundry, daily breakfast at Jonathan’s and very close to Shibuya South Exit, and Shibuya stream. Quite neighbourhood, but easy to get out and about.

Spacious room in less busy neighborhood”
Pros - Spacious room (relative to other hotels we stayed in Japan). - like the in-room facilities i.e washer, kitchen - surrounding is less busy and not noisy. Good for families. Cons - location is quite a walk from main station. The closest exit is 100m away but need to walk quite far from the station to this exit.

I was very happy how spacious the room was compared to other hotels in Tokyo! Staffs were helpful and good location. I will definitely come again next time
