I live in Vietnam and travel often in the Country. The Frangipani hotel building , the location, the rooms etc are all very nice but they don't really stand out from the many other offers in this market. What is remarkably noticeable about this place is the fact that the owner and the staff do understand that good service makes a great difference. One can not take that as a given in Vietnam. I will definitely come back.

Good impression was ruined”
I checked in late around 9:30PM. My first amazing impressions are that staff were polite and the air con was turned on before I entered the room. The room was clean and very organized. So many good points the hotel gave me in the first place. But the options for breakfast are a few. Just My Quang (noodle) and omelette served with sausage and mushroom. Things happened when I checked out early at 9:00AM on the next day. They gave me a very affirmative statement that the pair of slippers were not free of charge, that they already checked and saw only one pair of slippers in my room. WOW!!! I told them to check the room again. The other girl rechecked and came down and told they all were there in the room. "Do I look like a thief trying to leave the hotel early just because of slippers?" I thought to my self. Did you treat your guest like that? Wow, I felt insulted. And I got an apology that the guests usually took them. Double check before you want to insult your guests, PLEASE!

A lovely little hotel with outstanding service”
Prior to our arrival in Danang, having stayed in a relatively luxurious accommodation in Hoi An, Frangipani Boutique Hotel had quite an act to follow. The room provided was decent size and comfortable. But what really makes Frangipani so special and gives it its charm is the people that work there and the service they provide. The staff there, namely Trang and Dai, are so nice, friendly and helpful. I had a very short notice special request made on the first night of our stay, wanting to arrange a surprise for my girlfriend. They duly took on what I asked for as well as some thoughtful inputs and suggestions to make the occasion more special. While my girlfriend and I were on our day trip in Hue, the staff helped arrange our lovely candle lit-room decorated with rose petals, white wine and snacks await for us to return to! It was really beautiful and thoughtful of them providing the service. The owner/manager, Nam is very friendly and cooks up an awesome breakfast for us in the morning, with either choice of Asian style (pho/noodles) or Western (delicious omelette served with baguette). He is always open for a chat and ensuring you are enjoying your stay. Although the hotel is located not far from the beach, it is still relatively in a remote area. It is quite a distance from the city if you are not driving, and despite a few really local and dingy cafe/restaurants are the area it's hard to find a good place to chill over a coffee or for food. Thankfully once again the amazing staff are on hand and are able to direct you to right and best places to go. So don't be afraid to ask Trang or Dai for any help or directions (instead of simply relying on GPS and google search when first got here!). Fantastic place I would be happy to return to (it's where I got engaged after all!), as it has some of the best service around!

Oasis of chic and calm ”
Frangipani is a truly boutique, family run hotel. It is located near the beach, in a quiet alley. Spotless, tastefully decorated, has a small pool in the lounge/breakfast area - unusual but lovely. The family has the backing of a wonderful New Zealender Mag who makes sure everything is high standard here. The hotel is near good food places and for me it was definitely a highlight of Da Nang. Some issues with Agoda offloading payment to Booking.com caused a bit of confusion at the end but the staff managed to sort everything out. This place is a gem!

We stayed here for one night but it was an excellent choice to book this boutique hotel. The receptionist is very smart and brilliant whenever we asked something. My friend found out that he left his pants in the room after our check-out. So I sent a message whether they found his pants. I had got a reply promptly that they found the pants and it is ok to stop by the hotel to pick up the pants when we come back to Da Nang from Hoi An. Furthermore, they did the laundry for his pants. I would like to recommend this hotel if you are looking for the nice and clean hotel in Da Nang.

Boutique in every way, home from home! ”
This place is a hidden gem in Danang, set a short stroll back from the beach this place offers serenity with all the comforts of home. The manager Nam is an aspiring chef and his breakfasts are out of this world! They also provide delicious dinners upon request and during our stay I was a little sick so Nam made me up a hearty home made soup, which went down a treat. The bedroom was the most comfortable I stayed in Vietnam, big bed, desk, flat screen and a modern bathroom. Being only a few months old this place has few reviews so do yourself a favour and book at Frangipani Boutique Hotel!!!

Service above and beyond expectations”
I've been to many 3 and 4 star hotels around Vietnam and I can honestly say the Frangipani Hotel staff did more to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable than many more expensive accomodations. I can't express enough positive accolades for the hotel and the staff. Everything frim the location close to the beach and the river and the close proximity to some very good local cuisine and seafood restaurants the Frangipani Boutique Hotel can't be beat.

Living in Vietnam I've had the joy of experiencing many different hotels from Hanoi to Saigon. The Frangipani is one of the most enjoyable hotels. This is largely because of the wonderful and sincere staff. My wife and I enjoyed the coziness of the stay, it was as if we were in a B&B. We will recommend it and stay there again when in Da Nang.

an oasis of simple elegance”
Frangipani is a wonderfuul base for visiting Danang and Hoi An. We were treated like a very special part of the family. We went on a day tour to Hoi An and stayed there long enough to see the evening lights - after which we were promptly collected and returned to the hotel to enjoy the tranquility after the hectic tourism of Hoi An. tours are easily organised, although we preferred strolling the neighbourhood and city. The breakfast soups were the best soups I had in Vietnam. The fruit platter each morning had the freshest and most flavoursome fruit I have eaten in a very long time. Our room was spacious and spotless and the hotel decor is simple and elegant. Within walking distance of Frangipani are some delicious local restaurants - a little further afield (but we still walked without effort), was the beach and a myriad of seafood restaurants. Frangipani has the feel of a very upmarket homestay. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Frangipani is beautiful boutique hotel run by lovely staff. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to to help you out and are able to give you top notch recommendations.The rooms are comfortable and the attention to the tiny details add to the hotel's charm. Breakfast was wonderful with a choice of either a local or continental breakfast which they will prepare upon request. Highly recommend this hotel, with it's friendly staff and lovely environment.

A slice of heaven”
Such a wonderful little boutique hotel in the middle of Vietnam. I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable stay, at such a quaint little hotel. It looks like a nice house from the outside, and even has that feel when you are inside. It is only a 5 minute walk from the beach, located on a very small side street. It is extremely quiet. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are quaint, but have everything you could possibly need. The bed was super comfortable and soft. The pillows seemed as if they were brand new and extremely fluffy. All of the amenities that are provided are of high quality, and not cheap generic bulk products. Breakfast was outstanding. Freshly cut fruit, freshly brewed coffee, and prepared to order main courses. I had an omelette with mixed vegetables and bacon. My wife had some of the local style noodle soup. My only complaint is that I did not stay longer in DaNang, so that I could stay at this wonderful hotel for more time.

Nice boutique hotel”
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. From the outside, it looks like a large residential complex. It is not beach front but walking distance to the beach. Stepped inside, the decor are well decorated. There is even a lap pool! Our double room is well appointed and clean. Their home cooked breakfast, either Vietnamese or Western style, were delicious. Excellent staff service. They helped with organising our tour to Ba Na Hills. My top pick for Da Nang.
