Very dated”
The building & spa facilities are extremely dated. We also had breakfast included with our stay, probably the worst full English I’ve ever had. We won’t be returning.

Dirty ”
I’ve got photos of dirty curtains covered in damp and mildew , walls all covered in damp and mildew, also a large clump of hair from the bath drain plug, and I had to ask for a toilet roll

In desperate need of a refurbishment”
The room was clean. However, we were in room 7 in the loft which must be located close to the aircon unit for the building as there was a continuous, annoying noise all night that disrupted sleep. There were empty glasses all of the hotel so clearly not enough staff to collect them. The spa is very run-down indeed - tiles missing from walls, grout missing, most of the hydrotherapy facilities are broken and taps are missing from showers etc.

Don't be misled by agoda website”
We booked this hotel because the Agoda website shows free breakfast and dinner . When we arrived at the hotel to check in we were informed that our booking was the cheapest room they had and was room only . The room was upstairs at the back of the hotel with a view of the rooftop air conditioning and ductwork and the associated noise . This was certainly not the room or board we were led to believe we had booked.

Night away ”
Booked the hotel down to the fact we had a table booked in a restaurant near by. Hotel is very very dated and needs huge improvements. I wouldn’t stay or recommend this place again. Staff nice though!

Not 4 Star”
Stated when they tried to charge me twice. Entering the room we found a big black hair in the small bed and one on my towel. Previous occupants toothpaste all over the tap, the fridge didn’t work and the kettle would not stay on. Windows haven’t been cleaned in months, possibly years. Curtains and blinds hanging off their rails. Considering this is a 4 star hotel, it is terrible.

Very good”
The spa was beautiful staff were helpful although they seemed understaffed at times. The hotel staff were also helpful and tried their best although seemed understaffed and not provided with all they needed to provide a perfect service. However upon arrival we were asked to pay in advance and then again upon departure. We were made to feel likewe were being untruthful. The systems in place don't seem to be seamless making for an uncomfortable situation. My booking quote for room cost also didn't match the charge by over £50. In addition the hotel seems to be in the dark ages regarding technology with regarding to lighting and plug positioning and availability.

Lovely country spa hotel”
Loved the personalised welcome letter. Loved the old time shower that was easy to use. Was unhappy about the 50 pound deposit that was taken from each of us when we arrived and was not taken off our bill at the end

Spa freezing, jets broken! Everythi was dusty! Staff were rude and inattentive! ”
Booked for a couples spa night away! Spa was not very relaxing and very cold! Pool was freezing with no jets working - doors to outside were broken too! Staff were very rude and not attentive in any way - day down for lunch and thought we were i the wrong place as two members of staff just ignored us and continued polishing cutlery etc after 10 min I had to ask for menus, drinks etc sandwich was adequate although bread was hard as if it had been left out! At breakfast the same frosty reception from staff - we had to call our orders out to a waitress across the other side of the room - evebvthen she didn’t come over with a pad or anything so we then had to shout out our egg, hot/cold drink preferences! Basically we were made to feel like a nusience for being there! Very very disappointed - such a shame!

Shame about the little touches that matter!”
At £119 per night for a small room it is such a shame that the small touches that matter were not taken care of. No team and coffee making facilities in the room?! Even budget hotels provide this as a basic. And a £4 "tray" charge for a £6.95 sandwich when the majority of the rooms are on the ground floor less than 50ft from the kitchen. Also as a businessman staying there the idea of a pool was nice but just a shame it closed at 7.30pm!

der Pool / SPA Bereich herrlich”
Das Meer hat 11 - 13°C - da war der beheizte Pool einfach nur genial.
