"Amazing hotel! The view of the Bay from the room was mind-blowing. Also, great view from the pool and the restaurant. The staff were very helpful. Everything about this hotel was excellent. I've been to many other 5-star resorts in Vietnam and this one takes the cake. A lot of the staff speaks English and they have a lot of westerners working around. They've got a very nice infinity pool with view of the Bay. The restaurant frankly was not too impressive. They had a great variety of food, a lot of different kinds of food in fact. However the taste and quality of the food didn't impress me, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't as excellent as all the other things this resort has to offer. I blame it on the holidays, too many people were at the hotel during this festive weekend. They were still building the rooftop so I didn't have access to that yet. They have an awesome golf course with all the things you'd expect from a 5-star resort. The check-out process took quite a long time (again, do to this weekend being a holiday weekend.) I fully recommend this resort for couples or families, it was amazing."

"This is a good hotel, it was clean, the staff were friendly, and it was located next to a convenience store and not far from the wheel, and some cute cafes overlooking the bay - only a few minutes via a scooter. It wasn't a perfect location for me since the nearby tourist attraction is officially closed off for group (where tourists would climb up to this mountain to get some good views), and we weren't that interested in the big wheel, since many cities have one, and many others offer better views, etc. In the end, the best location would be next to the harbor for public ferry, and for private tours. Facilities were also lacking, but that's only because we were looking for a gym or a rooftop bar that would be busier. Because it was cold, and there weren't that many guests, that was closed so there goes that star, and there are no extras, such as a gym or a pool, so there's the other star for facilities."

"Probably one of our highlights of our trip. Beautiful boat, good rooms with private deck which was so nice. Amazing views, just wish we had more time and spent longer as we only did 1 night. The floating village is amazing to see and be rowed around by a local. All pricing on board is in American dollars and they add 15% on top. I highly recommend victory star and it was definetly one of the best looking boats we saw especially as some don't even have decks. "

"Small boutique hotel with lots of trees/greenery area. The best of the hotel is the staff who are nice and supportive. Only one thing I would recommend them is to get to know more details about event/attractions/tours to advise guests. The second best is the cook. We had two good lunches with tasty food, reasonable price and peaceful space for family It's pity that I couldn't book the beach front building, but the back side also not bad, which view Bai Tho (Poem) mountain. It's only 300m to the temple of General Tran Quoc Nghien and King Le Thanh Tong. The room I book is a Deluxe Twin Mountain View, large enough, and clean. The minus points are the strange location of the TV, which is right angle to the beds and the hand sink put outside the small bathroom. If you like more activities, a hotel in Bai Chay area should be more suitable. For family who need peaceful, this hotel is a good choice. 10 minute taxi, at 3 USD will take you to the center of swimming, theme park and cable car."

"The refrigerator didn't work properly, and the hot water was cut off from time to time. My wife got a bruise on her nose when a frame on the wall fell while sleeping. Overall, it was the worst hotel I've ever been to."

"The hotel is good value for money, beds are very comfortable, everything is very clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. My only complain would be the breakfast, there are some of the same options you get at almost any hotel (noodles, fried egg, fried rice, fruit, etc) but it was cold and bland; however it is not a deal breaker."
