I will stay here again if i want to stay near JR hakata, Canal city or Nakasu. Host speak good english. Towels for 100 yen rental. Beds are good. you can sit up on bed as the distance between upper and lower bunk beds are spacious. Shower water is intermittent. You have to push the button for water to flow out. Nearest metro is Gion but if you want to take JR, you can walk via overhead pass to Canal city and walk straight to Hakata. The walk is long though. Toilet is clean. there are computers for usage. overall very good.

Overall was excellent. Was there for 8D7N with a room of 3 bunk beds, room is simple, clean and tidy. The hostel location was central, located inside Kawabata arcade that comes with shop lots and eateries. 24 hours ramen and udon shops as well. Along the arcade, there's one popular eatery which the only one has a waiting list, it's famous for its gyoza (dumplings), reasonable price and just located right in front of the hostel. Convenient to walk to shopping mall (canal city), subway stations (Nakasukawabata, Hakata), and shrines.

Good space, location, and gracious staff!”
It's prime location allowed me to shop in the area first thing in the morning and go to the nearby temples in less than five minutes! The sleeping space is comfortable, as well as the shower area. More than anything, the staff was extremely friendly and gave me tips for my trip! There was even a station where you can get free items. Excellent experience at a very cheap price! :)

Must Stay Hostel in Fukuoka!”
2nd time staying in Fukuoka Hana! Glad I returned & stayed again. Slept in a 3-bed male dormitory room. They gave my request of reserving a bottom bunk. Common area was super clean, staff were super nice. The dormitory room had a private bath & toilet which is a plus! Location was very central, located along the Nakasu Shopping Street. 20 minutes walk from Hakata Station, 10-15 minutes away by walk from Tenjin. Too many establishments nearby. Will stay here again in the future!

Location is perfect. Quiet at night. Dorm mates were quiet and discreet. They were out most of the time. I love the farm shop nearby coz I could buy fruits and veges easily and the price is affordable, contrary to the belief that fruits are very expensive in Japan. I love the cosy kitchen where I met friendly fellow travellers. The staff were gold. The place is very clean. I only spent less than USD200 for the whole trip.

Excellent location and friendly staff who can speak English fluently. I was there for two nights. Nice and clean. Just one thing, If you will be sensitive to some noise, I'll suggest you check in early and take the bed which is not close to the corridor. But still, I will definitely stay here if I come to Fukuoka next time.

Very convenient location and close to main attractions”
The hostel is in nakasu kawabata shopping street near the rear entrance and a few steps away from Kushida Shrine and Canal City Mall. Its at the heart of Hakata area. I realized that by staying in this area I saved money for transportation cost as I can walk to majority of attractions within Hakata and Tenjin. The staff were also great and accomodating. The place was very clean and its easy to navigate around. I stayed in the female dorm room for 6 so its understandable that other guests are a bit loud and since I am a late sleeper I kinda get surprised during cleaning time in the morning but this is nothing major as the staff are very considerate. The only down side for me was that the bed was hard and it kinda hurt my hip. Nevertheless if I happen to go back to Fukuoka I will definitely stay here again. And I will also try to stay in other Hana hostel chains within Japan.

Hospitable staff”
I had a great stay at this hostel. The room and bathroom are kept tidy at all times. There is a kitchen and they serve free coffee/tea. The staff were kind and welcomed every guests warmly. One of their receptionists is half Pinay and speaks fluent tagalog. 👍👍👍

Pros: 1. Bed is big, though I'm in tge shared room 2. Clean 3. The best staff, from receptionist (Sachiko, Nana and th other one) to Cleaning staff 4. Kushida Shrine is just a second away 5. Near the bus stop 6. Near of all (haha)

Staff were very friendly, place was very clean. The dorm was a little squeezy but the bed was big. Only thing was that aircon might not be able to get in if you close the curtain. The light in the bed was also a little too dim. Other than that everything was perfect and the location was really good too!

The staff is very helpful and they can speak English too. The only issue I faced was taking my heavy luggage to the third floor without an elevator. Overall experience is good.
