Good”

Although the hotel was in the process of being renovated, we still had a very comfortable bed with all the facilities we needed for 1 night and the caretaker/handyman/receptionist was more than helpful.

Did not really enjoy my stay. Everything needs renewed. Very very basic hotel. Only positive was heating was adequate, plenty hot water and it was quiet.

Never been in such a bad hotel!! Room not clean, toilet not clean, paint work in bad state, matras of bad quality, could not close the curtains/window shades. Door to room of very low/unsafe quality.

Give it a miss ”

I love doing good review but this place does not deserve one. As soon as I got to my room I went to reception to tell them it’s not been cleaned. I was told it was. What can one say to that. The used ear plugs in the bathroom and in the bedroom isn’t mine. I moved the bed away from the wall to plug my phone in only to find a second pillow behind the bed on the floor? Is it for me? Is it from someone else? The room has been cleaned hasn’t it? The tv? The one that doesn’t work? And the wifi that works sporadically. I’m sorry, I have stayed in many budget places but this was unacceptable.

Room stank of cigarettes”

After a short notice cancellation from other accommodation, I paid £84 a night to stay in a room that was reasonably clean, but all parts of it stank of smoke and some of the furniture . The price was far too high for what I got.
