The hotel was a distance away (10 mins walk) from the Toyako Onsen bus station, but you can take a Donan bus that stop nearby the hotel. The hotel is very close to the Illumination tunnel and Illumination street. We were able to see the Winter Fireworks up close and it was the best of the 4 fireworks we saw in Hokkaido. The room is very spacious and has a aircon, heater and electric fan. We were also able to use the onsen of the hotel beside ours, which has a great view. There are also tax free drug stores where we got our fix of beauty products.

Stay includes breakfast and dinner which is of high standard. Room is huge with futons, sitting area and TV. Able to use the rooftop onsen for free at sister hotel just in front of this hotel. A very short walking distance to the lake to see the 20 min fireworks (start at 8.45 pm) Able to book bus to Sapporo at the reception at a very affordable price. Staff is able to speak Chinese and answer any questions we have. A very pleasant and relaxing stay at Lake Toya.

Good location and hot bath”
There is a bus stop right outside the hotel (Motomachi) from JR Toya station. The onsen at the hotel itself is quite small but you can use the one in the hotel opposite, which is amazing, and has open air baths with views over lake Toya and Mount Votei. Bedroom was Japanese style and basic. Staff were great- very polite and helpful.

This area is famous for its onsen and lake view. If you're into both, this hotel is not for you. We didn't try its onsen (public bath) so no comment, but the hotel can't see the lake (little bit inner area), thus its price is much cheaper when compare to those hotels with lake view. We stayed at the Japanese style room, if you make your own bed each day (futon bed, easy to make) you can save your bath tax (150 yen per person per day I think). Most if the things is self serve even the amenity. Room is nice and right size, but you need sit on floor and sleep on floor as it is Japanese style room. But good experience. It included breakfast and dinner, don't expect too much about them as they are okay only. little or no selection. But again, it is free, can't expect too much. Have some dinning places, convenient stores, drug stores and shops you can explore around. And can have long walk around the lake, each night have firework at the lake (around 9.45pm not sure) which is amazing!!!

Nice Location by Toya Lake”
This hotel is old but it has kind staff and good looking view through the window. The most nice thing was the open area bath with excellent view of Toya Lake even though you have to walk across the building, it's worth to visit. The Restaurant was OK.

Lakeside, Great View, Good Food.”
This Ryokan is located at the Lakeside of Toya, the onsen is open air, our package came with buffet dinner and breakfast. Value for money and the buffet is good. (Shrimp, crab, scallops, wagyu , fresh sashimi etc..) If you travel during summer autumn, there is firework show every night at 9pm.

Nice Tatami Room with Onsen”
The good about this hotel is that guests can use the onsen in their building and the neighbouring hotel as well. As this hotel ia small so we felt at home. We were given rooms with part view of Lake Toya which is very beautiful esp with snow at surrounding area. We booked the room with half board included. The dinner comes in rather big portion while the breakfast is simple. It has been a nice stay for my family.

Although it was a bit far from the bus terminal, it is just a minute walk to toya lakeside and a few minutes walk to the nearest seven eleven. The service and facilities were good enough. One extra point is, their customers are allowed to use the Onsen at the opposite hotel, and the view is splendid. There are different types of onsen(indoor and outdoor) and you can directly see the entire lake toya while bathing in the onsen.

This is my second time staying here. The hotel is just by the lake and within walking distance to the convenience store and bus stop to the ropeway. Rooms are simple and affordable compared to the other hotels in the area. We ordered breakfast and dinner which was wholesome and delicious. You can also use the bigger onsen at their sister hotel across the road.

Spacious room, good location”
They charged 300 yen if you would like them to set up the futons for you. We decided to set up ourselves however no instruction was given hence we just confusingly set up (not sure if we did it right) but it was quite comfortable. The air cond served as heater purpose only (Autumn - 22 degrees outside) but there is a small standing fan to increase air flow. Stains are notable on the mattress and paper walls and there was bugs flying around in the room. We are allowed to use the hot spring bath from the hotel next door. Free parking available.

Location is near the bus stand to go to the JR station. It's also near the lake. However, it is quite worn down and a little old, so the facilities are not as good/new. Complimentary use of the onsen in the sister hotel opposite it, and can see the difference in the facilities. Meals were delicious. Small place and thus price is reflected
