Clean and courteous”
Gie Gardens was a great value at the right price. There are no frills, but the room and beds were good. The hotel was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you need a stopover in Tagbilaran.

Decent hotel with friend,y staff”
Besides the AC was really loud, the size of the room actually is really big comparing to normal philippine's economic type of hotel. A bit old fashioned, but very neat and clean. Some features are old but still functional well.. But, yes, the AC was too loud I had to turn it off when I felt a bit cooling down. No hassles at check in when I arrieved really late without the credit card I used to book the room, no hassles at check out when I actually left around 1 pm actually 1 hour passing the check out time.. Very friendly and understanding staff. Very close to the panglao island..but far from alona beach so don't think Bohol island is small like boracay...but the tricycle is very convenient.. If u like local experiences. Not a place for luxury enjoyment but definitely good for transit and I would spend another time there in Bohol again...the price is really good for the condition...

Good Location”
Good location, located downtown Tagbilaran city. Fast check inn. Quiet atmosphere with a small parlor and massage in front. The rooms are located in the third floor. Make sure you reserve twin bed room if two persons though the rooms are big. There is hot and cold shower for these rooms but not for those on single occupancy only . The room boys is a big help and a big smile after service. Good job.

Good short stay hotel with no problems or issues”
For the low price, I was surprised that everything about the hotel was in generally good condition. One double bed, small TV, aircon, hot water shower. Everything in good working order, no problem with the room. Check-in was friendly with no hassles. The only issue I had (no fault of the hotel) was a lot of noise from the street made it into the room.

ok hotel in the city center”
well, i booked using agoda but it's not necessary if you travel solo and want their less expensive rooms, as they aren't available on that website. i paid €18 or $24 via agoda, which was the cheapest price available, however if i had just walked in, i could have gotten a room for a bit less. they had plentyof rooms available. there are cheaper hotels in tagbilaran. the room was ok, but there was no elevator, which meant walking up flights of steps with your baggage. air-conditioning and hot water worked ok and there was a small tv. the reception staff was friendly, but not particularly knowledgeable or helpful with my questions. the hotel was right in the city center, so well-located. my room was pretty quiet and quite spacious. i found it very convenient to stay in the city, rather than out at alona beach, for one night so i could go out and see the tarsier sanctuary using public transportation.from the hotel it was a short tricycle ride to the bus station, from where you can catch a jeepney or bus to corella/sikatuna and descend at the tarsier sanctuary. the hotel is also convenient for the ferry terminal at the pier.

on arrival the staff were helpful and polite.the room proved to be spacious with a good size bathroom. the room also benefited from free wifi and cable tv although the tv in our room lacked a remote control, but considering the money we paid, i think this hotel represents good value. this said, howerver i think tagbilaran is only a place to stay overnight enroute to other places.

the room is big for 4 persons but bed is smaller for a couple. hotel is located near the church, banks and establishments. We are satisfied with the service especially their friendly staff. i will recommend the hotel to my friends.

the location is around the city and is accessible to anything. although the hotel is a bit old outside and also at the reception area, but when you get inside, the place is really clean and so is the room. the standard room i reserved is very specious. the staff are very friendly too.

Right in the heart of the City”
The hotel is located right in the city center with access to good food, night markets, and easy transportation. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is not brand new, but it was still very clean and felt safe the entire time we were there. We would stay there again in our travels in a heartbeat.

Great cheap hotel in good laocation”
Fabulous...in room wifi was very poor and had a power failure in the early hours but no problem...Not going to mentyion anything bad when there were so many good things in the little hotel.

An ordinary budget hotel”
The frontdesk area was a little gloomy. The checkin was fast and we were provided our room right away which was on the 3rd floor. There were no elevators so our grandmother had a hard time going up and down the stairs. The room was spacious although you can see that it's already old. The aircon is not that cold but that's alright for me as I don't really like cold temp that much. The staff was pretty attentive to our request. The toilet got busted but they were able to fix it in a few minutes. Pretty decent to stay if you just want a place to sleep. However, if youre with an elderly or you want a cool environment, better check out other hotels.

We had a great stay here. Room is big enough for a family of 5. it is near establishments, malls, food chains so if you need something, it is easy to get it there..walking distance to these areas..we extended our stay here for one more night..nice and friendly staff.

Gie Gardens is much nicer in the pictures of Agoda. haha It has no character...just a room that has affordable rates. You can stay here if you just need a place to sleep in. No customer service that you can count on. Aircon is lousy too. But if you're cheap..this is what you get. Enjoy the city and come home tired and sleepy...it will work.
