Fantastic quiet hotel with amazing views and friendly staff”

If you wish to stay in a location from which you can access everything in a short time but which is quietly located so that you can unwind at the end of the day, this is your place. It is located a very short stroll from Tsukiji metro station. You will walk through a small park adjacent to St-Luke hospital and just have a breath of fresh air and peacefulness before turning in for the night. We heard no noise whatsoever from inside or outside during our five day stay The staff was the friendliest possible and although it is in a location that is slightly removed from the action, you can find everything you need nearby. We loved our stay at Creston. I was there with my nine-year-old son who absolutely adored the place and we greatly recommend it for families. The rooms are big enough to feel comfortable and every amenity you can think of is provided. By the way, the beds are not so hard contrary to what some reviews say. The mattresses are high quality and extremely confortable. .

Good choice”

I have to booked this hotel because my mother was admitted at St. Luke's International hospital, across the street from the hotel. Actually, the hotel is very good. It is located by the river and walking distance to Tsukiji subway station. The room is large compare to others hotel room in Tokyo. If you walk around the street nearby the hotel, you will find many small local restaurants. You can easily access to Ginza or other popular places in Tokyo by subway.

Spectacular Tokyo skyline view!”

Very nice and classic western style hotel. The rooms are clean and a way bigger than the ones you use to get in Japan for the same price, plus the view of the city skyline from the room is really amazing. The staff is very helpful and they speak fluent english. The only flaw is the location, but you will find 24 hours minimart just crossing the main street and it’s located a 10min walking from the Tsukiji Market. If you don’t mind to take a 15min walk or a 410jpy taxi to the nearest station (Tsukiji) and you like to wake up with one of the best Tokyo skyline views in a very quiet location, then I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel (for business trips/meetings or just to chill out with your family/couple).

Good Clean Hotel”

Hotel is in Ginza and convenient enough as locations go. It is quite near to the train and taxis (expensive in Tokyo) are easy to find. There are restaurants nearby, the area is quite busy during the day but not at night. You can walk about 15 minutes to Ginza which is very central and has almost everything you need. Hotel is typically Tokyo, in-room facilities are good but nothing much else. It is clean and well maintained. Hotel staff is courteous.

Great rooms, central”

The room was big in tokyo standards, massage chair, view of city and river from the window

The hotel is quite central (5 minute walk to subway) and close to ginza which is great. The rooms were a nice size with great bath products, comfy bed, a massage chair to use after a long day of walking and a great big window overlooking the river and the city. We took the ferry on the first morning, located right next to the hotel. The front desk helped us with info - the only downside is that they didnt know that the fish market was closed and we woke up very early in the morning for it.. We recommend the hotel for a stay in tokyo

My disappointing stay in Ginza Creston Tokyo”

There are two facts, which are unacceptable: 1. Earlier check in, if the room is still available I arrived on 29th of September 2016 around 11:30 am. I still knew, that check in is from 02:00 pm. But, my room was available, everything prepared. So my experience told me, that, if the room is available, the Hotel will also allow to check in a little bit more early. I was travelling long through the night, so I was very tired. The front desk statt said, that they could give me my room earlier (two and a half hours), but I should pay them Yen 7.500,--. I strictly disagreed and left the Hotel immediately. For me this a an absolute NO-GO and the first time I made this kind of experience. Absolutely no customer Service! 2. Not possible to Change Money In the middle of Tokyo on Sunday afternoon, it is hard to find an open bank. So it would be a good idea, to offer a possibility for changing Money at the front desk, like mostly all good Hotels offer to their guest - but the Ginza Creston Hotel does not! The rooms are clean and nice and also more big, than in other Hotels in that Price category. Breakfast was good. But Point 1 of my summary was so whorst, that all the other positive things are not enough. I would not recommend this Hotel, because here the Guest is not the King, just the Management of the Hotel is the king.

english speaking staff, nice river and city views, and large room

there are a few english speaking staffs who are very helpful in giving us directions to places of interest. it is very near to tsukiji fish market so we didn't need to wake up super early and travel far to have your fresh seafood for breakfast. the room is large and there is a massage chair for us to relax after a long day of walking. the toilet is standard american size, and the night view of the room is especially fantastic. We also managed to get a wifi device from the reception to use wifi in the room. Overall, the hotel is superb and definitely one of the best we've stayed in Tokyo so far!
