Cute & Cosy spot”

A very cosy spot with a very comfy bed. If you look for "a different way" to stay, this is the right place. You find everything you need inside for a stay of some days. Including a small TV, a lot of DVDs, books and games. Easy communication with the landlord.
Maybe not the best idea to stay there during winter when it's cold outside. The pod has a heater, but nevertheless you will feel the low temperature in the bathroom.

Wonderful pod, modern and unusual design. Compact, yet spacious. Convenient location - close to town. Equipped with everything that needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the eco-friendly toilet and shelving for cups/glasses. Great host and fast response. We had a great stay.
It was warm when under the covers, however one heater did not seem to keep the pod warm in the winter.

Wonderful stay! My favourite in many years.”

Extremely cozy and homely, lovely personal touches, very nice and clean! ^_^ I've never slept in a comfier bed!! The host was extremely accomodating and stopped to chat and offer advice :) nice little welcome sheet on arrival. Free WiFi provided, eco friendly pod. Heating, extractor fan, hairdryer, body wash, shaving foam, kettle, microwave, fridge, heater, tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided. Lovely tea pot and french press provided as well as cutlery, plates and bowls. Washing up supplies. TV with DVD player and lots of DVDs to keep you offline in a wholesome way while in this retreat. There was an IKEA table, chairs for both indoor and outdoors and an outdoor table for when the weather allows :) Muddy boots tray, and nice benches to sit on while removing them in the porch.
The fact I had to leave and return home !

The pod is very comfortable and has everything you could need and more. The bed is super comfortable. We had the best sleeps we have had in a long time. Nothing was too much trouble and lots of local advice provided on other walks/climbes to do other than just Ben Nevis. Totally beautiful location, superb hosts and a very enjoyable 4 night stay. Will definitely return in a heartbeat when back in Scotland.
There is not anything we did not like with the pod.

Lovely host, went out of her way to make sure I was ok, provided a vegan breakfast for me, made sure I had everything I needed and that I could get in ok. Room was so lovely and comfortable. Best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. Nice to have DVDS to watch. Very relaxing and peaceful place, I would come back for sure.

Great little pod in a great location”

Those little thoughtful things... there was everything you need in the little pod. It had a little basket with porrage and biscuits, milk and even juice, which was very useful for us when we had to get up really early for a hike to Ben Navis. There was even a DVD movie collection suitable for Scotland holiday and even books. Nice hot shower. Very clean. It was also warm, we didn't need heating but there is one there. And the location was great too. 20 min walk to all the reataurants and close to Ben Navis.
It is a small pod. It was abaolutely great for 2 people but we had suitcases and rucksacks so we used all the space for them.

Pod well equipped, nice touches eg good range of books, clever design features, and kept warm. Good quality furnishing. The pod itself is fine for 2 people or 2 adults and a child. Would be very difficult for 3 adults.
The description of the pod having (as quoted on the internet) balcony, patio, and sun terrace is very generous. The pod position is unfortunate being on a housing estate service road and adjacent to garages. The emailed directions suggesting you follow a farm track are also misleading, there was no farm we could see. This is our only real disappointment. Other pods we have seen have been in fields where you really could sit outside in a rural setting and not have cars and dog walkers within 6 feet. No fault of the pod but the range of shops in Inverlochy comprises 2 cycle shops, a dog grooming parlour and an undertakers. We walked the mile+ to Morrisons in Fort William for sandwich stuff etc. which was OK as it didn't rain much.

A cosy cottage outside of Fort William. Great localization to observe Jacobite train or to climb Ben Nevis. Lidl nearby enough to get your groceries. Breakfast included.
Can get cold in the night - make sure the radiator is working.

The pod is adorable! There was a lot of thought put into the accomodations. It was an amazing use of space. Bed was very comfortable. Great selection of movies and books, nice selection of breakfast items. The pod was also very eco conscious. The pod was about a 20 minute walk to the train station. The host was very communicative (and had very cute dogs). Overall, a wonderful stay.
WiFi would have been a great bonus, but cell reception was good so WiFi wasn't required.
