Great staff so very helpful
This is a standard Holiday Inn Express. Simple but perfectly adequate room. Small - but perfectly adequate - choice for breakfast. Nice touch that the coffee and water machines are free to use all day. Pub with food next door. Please note that reception plays loud music until about 11.00pm - we could hear in our room just above. Ask about this if going to bed early or ...
Beautiful old building. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. The gym and pool are excellent and spotlessly clean. I got a late deal and it was excellent value for money. I even extended my stay because I enjoyed it so much. Peaceful, quiet, excellent food and great staff. Some lovely locals also frequent the bar. I am definitely going back.
