Quiet with friendly staff and central location”

Gold Vinh is fantastic for the price. Our room had AC that worked, the room was quite sizeable, the beds were pretty good, definitely clean and there's a TV and a good sized bathroom. The staff was extremely friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. I would definitely stay here again.

Nicest Hotel Staff Ever”

The incredibly nice and helpful staff helped us with a taxi driver who tried to charge us way too much when he dropped us off. It was late when we arrived and the man drove us free of charge to the only open restaurant. He then waited there for us to order and eat before driving us back to the hotel. (He even told us he would pay for the meal and we could just pay him back at the hotel) Both girls at the front desk were also very helpful and very sweet. The rooms and bathroom were spacious, well-kept, and clean (although the beds were very hard). The AC and Wifi worked well. There was also a desk, large dresser, and TV with cable. I would stay here again.

So The Golden Vinh was an experience”

After traveling 290km, my buddy and I needed a night of R & R. We found that here at the GVH. There was a definite English/Vietnamese language barrier, but the staff was friendly, and they met us at the local Big C Supermarket to take us to their hotel. Side Note: If you're a westerner and you want to feel like a bit of a celebrity, go through the Big C mall...you'll thank me later. It's a half mile walk from the GVH. The GVH also has secure parking for motor bikes. Go check it out, and yes I am threatening you with a good time.

Was a decent place for a stop over”

We only stayed one night as a stop over,they had parking for our bikes,rooms we nice and big also walking distance to the bigC mall....it has a KFC that was pretty much the highlight of grim vinh

Satisfying stay”

A little difficult to locate, but close to local market and to major supermarket. Not much choice for dining in the immediate area. Nice rooms. Beds might be hard for those not used to them. Bathroom facilities good. Fan blew when plugged in, but speedy maintenance assistance. Only Vietnamese spoken - more a hotel for the local market

Good for a night's stay ”

Huge room, comfortable bed, pillows, and blankets. They even had extra pillows and blankets in the cupboard. Air conditioning worked well. I didn't turn on the television. Bathroom was clean and hot water shower efficient. It's in a quiet part of town, yet close enough to things worth seeing. There's a market nearby, which makes for interesting sights in the morning.

I always like to picture myself in a place when it was built. This hotel has an nostalgic feel. The furniture the architecture and even the location where it's at. It's kinda neat. The staff is really nice and they tried to help with every question we had. The market is really close and you'll find a lot of interesting things there. We stayed one night and it was good.

Nice room, but no restaurant”

Pretty nice. Toilettry and bathroom are poor but with that price one wouldn't expect too mcuh

Comfortable, cheap, ”

It was centrally located and the room was fine, but the beds were rock hard. the staff weren't to strong in their language skills, but good enough if you didn't have too hard a questions.

Very good budget hotel”

Our stay here was very nice. The receptionist did great efforts to make us feel comfortable. Our room was quite big with two double beds, a nice coffee table, a big desk, wardrobe and a fridge. The A/C worked silently and we had cable TV.

big room, first time difficult to find”

Booked here for 4 nights and he beds were so bad to sleep on we couldn't wait to leave. The staff speak very little English. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned and for fresh towels as they have not cleaned our room. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Ok room. Warm air cond and hot water out of the shower. Nothing special otherwise.

I just stay one night but i can't sleep well. My room is at 4th floor. So noisy although not much guest in hotel. Hotel location is behind the local market.

Floors were dirty and dusty, the lift smelt of cigarettes and there holes on the bed sheets. Not impressed.

It is not a good hotel, located behind the traditional market, there is some smelling bad.
