Great spot for a city break. ”
English couple on a weekend trip to HCMC. The room was just what we needed - clean, comfy bed, very quiet at night and with a safe. The hotel has very little ambience but that wasn’t what we were looking for. We used the rooftop pool once which was nicer than we expected! Walkable distance to lots of cafes, restaurants, the War Remnants Museum and to the Ben Thanh Market. We didn’t opt in for the hotel breakfast so cannot comment. The perfect base!

Close to everything for the tourist to see. Quiet air conditioned room. Towels hand towels, face cloths and bath mats. Room is clean and tidy. Working fridge and tv writing table and chairs and table and chairs for drinking tea. Room had everything we needed and we were very happy. No overhead light but this was ok for us. Pool was lovely to relax in and loungers as well. Good value for money breakfast was good.

It is very close to the street food market, Ben Thành Market, and night street market. Many restaurants close by. Small but very nicely designed room with multiple views of the City. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

So hot couldn't sleep. Couldn't adjust aircon in room and front desk was no help”
My stay was terrible. Both rooms I had were miserably hot. The aircon wasn't adjustable even at 16 Celsius the temperature did not cool. So hot I couldn't sleep. Called reception 3 times to help and nothing. Would not recommend.

Unclean and room was poorly designed”
First, the keys didn't work and the door wouldn't open. The door wasn't checked for faults. Second, there was a dead cockroach right at the entrance of the room. Third, the air conditioner did not work. Fourth, we were offered another room and the tap in the bathroom kept spraying outside the sink. Fifth, the shower didn't function properly.

Nice Hotel with Pleasant Staff”
i stayed four nights at the golden central saigon hotel and had a really nice stay. the hotel is a bit expensive and the rooms somewhat small, but they are nicely decorated and very cozy. mattresses are some of the best i have seen in south east asia. the pool is located on the top floor, which is nice to chill out and swim after a long day in ho chi minh city. hotel is also in a great location about 5 mins from markets and 15 minute walk to backpacker area.

Great Hotel in a Central Location”
We stayed on the 11th floor of this hotel which was a great idea as you could not hear any outside noise at night at all (if you have never stayed in Ho Chi Minh before, this is something to consider as traffic noise is constant and very loud) The room was nice and comfortable. We had a drink on the rooftop bar next to the rooftop pool one evening and the views over the city were lovely. The breakfast area has 360 degree views through the windows and once again is a nice view in the morning (if you want to get a window seat, you might want to get up early as the hotel breakfast area was full when we stayed there). We also arranged a day trip to Mekong through the hotel and they were extremely helpful (Hoi An Express) and I have to say that this tour was one of the best of the holiday so we chose them again to book other tours at other stays around Vietnam. All in all, I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Ho Chi Minh but would encourage anyone to request a high floor room if only for the outside noise.

Lovely hotel and great location”
we stayed at the golden central hotel saigon for two nights, left our luggage there and spent a night in the mekong delta, and came back for two more nights. the hotel was perhaps not a 4-star hotel by european standards, but it was very nice for a moderate price. the furnishings were tasteful and looked quite new, the bed and bedding were excellent, the shower great with many water jets. everything was very clean. there were coffee making facilities in the room, a safe which is particularly helpful when sightseeing, nice bathrobes for the pool and even a scale should you need to weight yourself! the pool was a bit small but nice and clean, and there were never too many people. they had fitness equipment (stationary bike, treadmill, elliptic machine and weight bench) outside right next to the pool - not an ideal location but nice to have. the staff were very helpful, although sometimes their english was not that good. we paid one-half our room rate to check out at 6pm for a late flight, so that was helpful. all in all, a very favourable stay.

I travelled through Ho Chi Minh city with my mum, we stayed here for 3 nights and i couldn't fault it. The breakfast was great, the room was clean, not outside noise. Right in the heart of the city, could walk everywhere. Also organised a cu chi tunnel and mekong delta tour with them and it was also fantastic our guide Loi was great he knew everything and more. Couldn't have asked for a better guide. Make sure though its with the hotel directly though as one of the concierge offered us a tour with a completely different company, not recommended by the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!!!
