the Hotel was nice. the Staff were great, polite, and helpful”
the Heat was what i was not use to. It took a while to get climatized but the rooms were nice. they helped alot. the superior room was ok but the economy room was nicer. it took a while to get ajusted to thing that was broke but the staff fixed everything. thank You. the wedding was fantastic. you all did a graeat job. Salamat po. i enjoyed myself.

Great pool, wonderful full breakfast, fun karaoke. Hint: The shower water takes a long time to get hot so turn it on long before you need to take your shower. Also, the karaoke mic will shock you so hold it with a rag or glove.

This property has greatly improved since I last stayed earlier in the year. Food is excellent but needs to cater for foreigners a lot more. The internet now works fully without any problems. The telephone system is only available for local calls, could be made a available for national or international calls. Over all I was impressed with the service received. Stephen Jones

Check-in was quick, room was a decent size. Included breakfast did NoT include the child. Breakfast was good. We used the kids pool - lots of dead insects floating in it, waterslides in poor repair. Not much else in the area, but a bakery/shop beside hotel was convenient.

Most rooms have no windows. Ok if you like living in a cave. The AC had no control. if you switch it on its like a freezer in 10 minutes. If you switch it off its like a sauna in 10 minutes.

A golden stay with the Golden Palace Hotel”
I don't know with the others but I had the most pleasant stay with Golden Palace Hotel. I had never encountered any problem, thank God, from making a booking thru Agoda to check out. The daily breakfast buffet is amazing and the f and b staff were quite attentive to their tasks. Except for the aircon in the room and the low water pressure on certain times of the day my stay at the hotel would have been perfect. It may not be close to some establishments but tricycle and motorcycle ride is just but very accessible. Going places won't be a problem. I would surely stay again in this hotel whenever I'm in Tagum City.

I originally booked this hotel on Agoda. When I arrived they didn't have the room I booked online, so they told me the room would be a little extra, I was okay with that even if it was just an excuse to get more money. When I went to re-book the room the next day, they said I couldn't get it for the same price and I would have to pay the internet price. Well I didn't pay the internet price to begin with did I? Of course I refused to pay more for a room that I had already agreed to pay extra for just the day before. My question is what kind of business refuses someone's money when you are offering the same amount they had already agreed to before? When someone is getting a hotel room no one wants to haggle over stupid things like this. The management of this hotel is insane for turning down good money from me. I ended up going to a hotel that was much more expensive, but you get what you pay for. On top of everything else, the rooms in this hotel have not been remodeled since the place was built. Bottom line, don't waste your time with this hotel as you can get a better one in Tagum City for the same price or less.

I would not recommend Golden Palace at all very run down , rooms had very bad Oder ( smelly ).I even had a look at the Golden room in which did not have a window no natural light at all . Pool area was OK but it is open to public and Golden Palace charge you extra each day . I checked in and with in a hour i checked back out and went to different motel .Please look at this Hotel before you pay anything i would not recommend staying there im just being honest

Room - more than enough space for a family of 4. Internet - internet connection is really sloppy and I couldn't properly browse websites Food - food is great! Restroom - it has a bath tub + shower but I noticed that the color of the water is brownish. Heater is inconsistent. Air-con - remote control didn't function so we have to manually turn on and turn off which was a big let down. I don't like how the security guards treated us because they didn't even assist us where to park our car. T'was really disappointing.
